Leo Mulvihill looks the classic man's man.
The hat is one clue. Displaying an old-school flair for style, the 25-year-old law student at Drexel University walks around campus sporting a vintage Brooks Brothers three-piecer and authentic 1960s Florsheims, his trilby cocked just so. --snip-- Say goodbye to the sensitive guy who cries at the drop of a pink tee, or the slacker living with his mother, playing video games. This new man has ambition and aplomb, brawn and brains.
Think Cary Grant, Teddy Roosevelt, or Ernest Hemingway.

Here's another Retro Man Im rather fond of - and Im talking RE-TRO. Hat included!
How about this guy with a 'hat'?
And for something a little different but he always invokes the Retro through his music and style: Harry Connick Jr.

I have two of those — plus a black canvas half-length duster jacket. It’s great for fall weather outdoors.

I agree with you 100%.
I do drive a full-sized pickup, and I did just get it "warshed" the other day . . . but that's only because I still care about how it looks. Once it gets a little ragged it will be "real." LOL.

One manufacturer, possibly Bostonian, sold a very nice looking black or deep cordovan oxblood wingtip made from some kind of man made material in the early 70’s.
A buddy had a pair of these, which we referred to as “plastic fantastic wingtips.”

It’s about time. Men should look like men.

Read “Liberal Fascists” by Jonah Goldberg.
Teddy was a precursor to Obama. Sad, but true.

unacceptable substitute for real “retrosexual” men. we need pics of uber hottie Robert Mitchum and total manly man John Wayne from the 1940’s - 1960’s. we will only accept the original manly, not a cheap modern knock off.

Robert Mitchum.
Great actor, but as “Family Guy” so aptly pointed out, “in shape/out of shape” guy.

Ha! I washed half my truck yesterday. In a parking space, a whacked-out irrigation head was blasting, so I parked there.
Didn’t have time to back in the other way to wash the other side.

The gays would call it “butching up.” We retrosexuals have to be careful, however, as the gay fashionistas may appropriate this just as they did the biker look and facial hair back in the 1970s.

"I read The Art of Manliness on occasion, and find it an enjoyable read..." LOL...if you need a book about how to be manly (especially one with "Art" in the title), you're probably not...

Great - I think I just tossed my old pair of wingtip Florsheims that I have had since highschool! They were reddish/brown - so was that the Oxblood? Well, I hadn’t worn them in 30+ years - seemed too “old fashioned”. Oh well.
