"24" Themed Countdown Clock (1 Minute)
Set in New York City, "Day Eight" unfolds amidst the shadows of the Statue of Liberty and the United Nations as President Allison Taylor (Jones), alongside new chief of staff ROB WEISS (Chris Diamantopoulos), negotiates international security with OMAR HASSAN (Anil Kapoor), a determined Middle Eastern leader visiting the U.S. on a peacemaking mission. As the new day begins, an upgraded CTU operates under the command of M.B.A.-schooled, razor-sharp head honcho BRIAN HASTINGS (Mykelti Williamson), who supervises quirky CHLOE O'BRIAN (Mary Lynn Rajskub), expert data analyst DANA WALSH (Katee Sackhoff) and systems analyst ARLO GLASS (John Boyd).
COLE ORTIZ (Freddie Prinze Jr.), an ex-Marine who wants to follow in Bauer's footsteps, leads field operations while Agent RENEE WALKER (Annie Wersching) returns with an agenda of her own. Created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran, 24 is a production of 20th Century Fox Television and Imagine Television in association with Teakwood Lane Productions.

Hard to believe 24 is going to end.
Eight of the longest, most intensive, action-filled days in recent history.
Thanks Jack Bauer, and Chloe.

Did you see her grave?
Huh? she was only killed about 3 or 4 hours ago.......I know, I know, it seems like weeks doesn't it? Death always has that effect on loved ones.
She probably hasn't even been transported to the morgue yet.........

Did you see her grave? Kinda reminds me of the little remembered sequel "Under Siege 2: Dark Territory" (most notable for bringing to some consciousnesses Katherine Heigl)...Steven Segal's character, Casey Ryback, had been shot by a sniper and presumed dead. Everett McGill's character, Mr. Penn, questions a perp about the encounter.
PENN: When she shot the intruder, did you see the body?
PERP: (stammering a lame excuse)
(PENN B-slaps him in front of everybody)
PENN: Did...you...see...the body?
PERP: I "assumed" he was dead.
PENN: Assumption is the mother of all f***ups!

Yeah...we’ll watch...for old times sake...but this season is about as lame as broadcast TV has ever been.
Where is the spirit - the plots - the twists???...predictable PC and so passe.

I'm in!
Listened to Andrew Breitbart on David Asman's show on Fox Business Channel, which, if you don't have it, demand it. He is equating Jack Bauer with present day libs.

Just finished watching last week again.. WOW!
This is going to be a WILD FINISH!!
Go Jack, Go!!!
My Drinking cues will be:
“Peace” or “Piece”.... and/or.... “Stand Down”!!!
To: SomeCallMeTim
I'd give 10-1 odds that Jack dies. If you KNOW the series is ending.. you almost HAVE to write it in....Well according to what I have read the answer to whether Jack lives or dies is - Tony what are you doing with that gun . . . . . .
To: DollyCali
Dolli,
I live in Louisville..... 90 different bourbons are produced within 90 mile of my house... I like, almost ALL of them. I collect them... I have ~80. There are more than 120 available.
I really like Knob Creek, Old Pogue, Jefferson Reserve, Willet’s... etc... but, I promise you. Woodford Reserve is the BEST.
It was discovered by accident.... like everything in the world that is good. :-)
