It was Pierce's interference that ultimately led to the Supreme Court decision that gave her the right to go back to Federal Court. While it could be argued that she was a gold digger Pierce manipulated things to deprive ANS of what she rightfully may have had coming. Documents disappeared, possible forgeries and manipulation of the old man before he died.
Old man Marshall wanted ANS to be well cared for in the lap of luxury and would have been very unhappy if he knew Pierce intended to kick her to the curb.
The funny thing about this is that the money outlived them both...
I do think that ANS's estate will prevail either through litigation or possibly the Marshall family may come to the table now that the hated ANS is out of the picture. If HKS is removed as well as a negotiator (he will benefit in a percentage of legal fees but may be in prison so it might not do him much good :) )
It just might happen. Wonder what the Marshall family thinks of all of the ANS circus now?
The trial in Texas should have been the end of it. She found some whacko judge in Calif. to go her way. She owed so much money at that point, and probably still does, that any millions she is able to squeeze from the Marshalls will be moot. The employee that ANS owed 800 something thousand to is the one that got screwed....in more ways than one. :-)
Agree!
Saw it on a message board - it said Dr. Kovner.

I don't know if Anna didn't want anything on paper. She did have several debts, however. Howard could have talked her into hiding assets, but somehow I don't think she thought of this herself. Howard knows where the money is.
"""apparently HKS attorneys have a press conf. scheduled at 3 pm tomorrow - per court tv message board from etonline"""
ET?? Do you suppose they have been given a HEADS UP on the autopsy results?
They must be preparing something to refute the results - otherwise they would just wait to gloat.

Annaland? Oy Vey!!! I've always toyed with the thought of doing small catering jobs, because I love working with food. We'll see.
Cardamon is extremely expensive. I see all kinds of odds n' ends in the Mexican food aisle. The one thing that eludes me is cake and bread. Someone mentioned champagne yesterday(day before?), and I was thinking of making a white cake flavored with perhaps rose water and champagne. Sort of like petit fours. Then I read that the baby had been rushed to the doctor, and it killed my thoughts about celebrations.
