I also take ribbing for liking certain foods and combinations that are considered "American".
Like maples syrup on sausage and bacon with pancakes
Jam with peanut butter
Muffins with cheese or egg on them
Sweet muffins for breakfast cut and buttered (most Brits see these as cakes not something you eat at breakfast)

Raw cake mixture. Love scrapping the bowl when I make a cake.

These days it's called Jetix. Disney bought the rights to the Fox Kids block of shows, rebranded it and call it Jetix. Some countries have channels called Jetix, here it's just Toon Disney. :)
I like Boomerang myself. That channel was founded by the same group (Hanna-Barbera) who had such hit cartoons as Flintstones, Tom & Jerry, Topcat, et. al., and it also shows the Pink Panther/Inspector cartoons. LOL

I didn't see "Toon Disney" in Denmark, but they do have The Disney Channel there. :)

LOL! When I'm at my baby sis's and she's baking a cake or cookies I try to beat her 3 kids to the mixing bowl! I'm a nice Aunt though, I share ;-)

Be proud of your nerdiness, bro! I, for one, live for receiving "that look" from someone I just whipped out a Tremors line on. "Damn right I'm Burt" (actually from Tremors 3) is one of my favorites, guaranteed to have people shaking their heads.

The part I like about watching Boomerang is between cartoon shows when they show the various character toys! "You're watching Booo-muh-raang!"

I'm doing pretty good, but BEAT! The next 9 weeks of work are going to be insane. I'm working with a group re-writing some strategies that are pretty important.
We've got to get together again soon, but I'll be working Saturdays for a while. Dinner in Wasilla sometime?

I agree. WEll, I wont see Michael Moore.. but he is about the only one I boycott..
I do consult Rotten Tomatoes for new ideas & do go with KNOWN actors/actresses I like. Also screenwriters (Charlie Kauffman is my fav) .. or directtors. I lke Robert Gonzales.
THink I am going to crash.. can't believe how fatigued I get anymore.

"are you related?"No. When Proud_Yank was talking about moving to AK to work, intenseracer and I "talked him in." Friends/family ever since.

Be proud of your nerdiness, bro!I'm a sistah. I revel in my nerdiness - I was able to put information from Star Trek in my doctoral proposal. That takes guts and a willingness to follow the belief that 'everything I need to know, I learned from Star Trek.' : )

A woman who is a Tremors devotee...now that is cool! As I mentioned before, Tremors is completely lost on the women in my family, with the exception of my 13-year old neice.
Now, I asume that when you say "Star Trek", we're talking about the only real Star Trek, right? With Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Chekov, Uhura, Scotty, et al? That Next Generation, Voyager, DS9...it's all faux Trek!

we're talking about the only real Star Trek, right? You betcha. I quess I was a young teen when it first came out.
Confession - I've been to many ST conferences. Before VCRs and the Internet, they were the only way to get ST information, meet the show's stars, and relive the glory days. : )
