Guilty pleasures?
Does Drew Carey count? Having a crush on him makes people think I'm a little freaky.

"Lick it up" is my favorite song by them.
After that--it would be "heavens on fire".
And then "Crazy nights".
Yes--I am an '80's rocker(sometimes). When I listen to ANY of those songs(and a lot of others like them) I MUST have the music loud enough to "feel it", not just hear it. True rockers who have GOOD stereo systems (NOT Bose wave systems or similar) will understand what I mean!!

Oh - and another deep dark guilty pleasure is cheesy teen movies. The formulatic boy/girl from different cliques fall in love and usually starring Freddy Prinze Jr. kind of flicks. If it's aimed at teenage girls, I like it.
Nothing better on a cold or rainy Saturday afternoon.

There IS a point at which an actor will get SO DIRECTLY involved with pagan and liberal causes that I WILL boycott their movies. Alec Baldwin, Jane Fonda, and recently Michael J. Fox are such examples. (Fox cost us 2 or 3 Senate seats PERSONALLY with his lies and "fake spasms", and I will NEVER forget it!!)
But normally, I just go to a movie that interests me and don't worry too much about the politics of those in it. I went to see "deck the halls" With Matthew Broderick and Danny Devito(it WAS a mistake, that was a BAD movie!!), and was not that worried about the actors in it at the time.

I ate some cake batter last night, too.
Baked a cake for my son's birthday...I was in a hazy fog from sleep and was finishing off the icing in the middle of the night.
YUM!!!

I'll go to bed soon. I was feeding one of my animals and waiting to see whether she'd eat.

Let's see, I love "grade Z" horror and science fiction movies. Every Saturday night, I like to watch a local, Pittsburgh group of actors host the weekend horror movie. 80's movies are also a treat for me. I'm also a big packrat too, for some reason, old electronic equipment is attracted to me, I end up with a couple of old TV's, stereos and so on. B-)

Ack! Looks like I missed everyone again.
Max just went to bed, but I'll probably be going soon too.
I spent all night with my GF. Didn't get home till really-late-o'clock, which is why I wasn't around much tonight.

Thanks Dolly!
I just got back from dinner, the project I'm working on has some people in from other companies and from all over the place. After dinner, I actually met and shook hands with the (Alaska) president of the company.
I was beat, and almost chose not to go. Rather glad I did!

No. When Proud_Yank was talking about moving to AK to work, intenseracer and I "talked him in."
You were GREAT help, and I have NO regrets about my move! Can't leave out Thackney, who got more than his share of FReepmails from me about every AK subject under the sun :-)
Friends/family ever since.
Aww! This weekend doesn't look too good for me, but I'll try to get out again soon. We should try to meet somewhere like Chugiak for dinner this week. Assuming there is somewhere there to eat!

You have a COUPLE of old electronic items, and call yourself a packrat.....
Try THREE garages FULL of old electronic items,(probably more than TWO HUNDERED ITEMS, of old TV's, radios, amplifiers, speakers stereo receivers, etc) and some others "stashed" in various places.(And STILL getting more!!) THEN you can call yourself a packrat like me!! It IS an addiction!!
If, in the not-too-distant future, I do enter into some kind of serious relationship with a woman,(as in an engagement or such) I suspect I will have to trim that down a little bit.
But then..I will have OTHER things to occupy my time with!!
It WILL be hard to part with all of my goodies. It has taken me a long time to get them all. Some of them I drove a long way to get. I suspect that in that eventuality, I will make sure they all find good homes. NONE of them are going to be landfill!!
But till then...
