Recently, on my day off, I was browsing FR (surprise) and started clicking on posters' profiles and became fascinated by the little animated state flags on homepages, and I got to wondering:
What state has the most FReepers?
Is there a demographic? Is there a pattern? Am I beating my head against the wall? Do I watch too much NHL hockey????
Okay, maybe I should dust off some old DVD's, sip some Jamesons and enjoy a cigar, wait for Jennifer Anniston to return my phone calls ( before the restraining order), and let it go, but...I GOTTA KNOW!!!!
Where the heck are all you people from????????????

Actually, JimRob should have this as a graphic on the Home page. It could encourage more donations.
Shame that some foreign freepers donate more than some Stateside freepers.

California has the most conservatives, so I would guess the state the owner of FR lives in is probably the one with the most Freepers.

Seriously, I wish I were happy about #2 status, but I'm not. Texas FReepers should be #1. Afterall, the Prez is from TX.

Some guy named pc93 is registered in at least four different countries.
I wonder out of all the registered users, how many are actually active FReepers?

Well, perhaps I am just an idiot and don't know how it works, but that pc93 guy was on every foreign country page I looked at. Can you comment on anyone's page? I thought you could only comment on your own.

It is hard to tell, since many Freepers do not list their state.

It is not the quantity of FReepers that any particular state has...its the quality.

Why are the numbers for California larger than for the United States?

Why are the numbers for California larger than for the United States?I think because when you set up your profile page, you have the option of listing either your specific state or the United States. So the United States numbers only show people who chose the U.S. instead of their individual state.
To get the true numbers for the U.S., I think you'd have to add up all the states plus the "U.S." people.
Maybe Jim Robinson can tell us if my theory is wrong :)

One way to do it is change the flag of your state/country to the flag of the state/country board you want to post on.
