Arnold Schwarzenegger may be a more convincing actor than people think.
In the 1994 film Junior, he played a doctor who tests a fertility drug on himself and becomes pregnant.
Now, according to a Discovery Health Channel survey conducted by Decima Research Inc, one in five Canadians believe it will one day be possible for men to give birth.
DESIGNER BABIES
The survey was commissioned to coincide with the channel's "Medical Mystery Month." November will feature programming that examines mysteries like the possibility of genetic engineering in the future.
On this question, just 10% of respondents said they would consider custom designing "their perfect baby" with pre-selected traits.
But could men experience the joy of child birth in the future?
The possibility was given added credence last April when the Globe and Mail reported that a woman successfully gave birth at a London, Ont., hospital after carrying her unborn daughter in her abdominal cavity instead of her uterus.
Dr. Victor Han, chairman of neonatal-perinatal medicine at St. Joseph's Health Care told the newspaper that if the appropriate conditions are created and hormones produced, anyone can conceive.
The question is, would men really want to?

Why would a man want to do something that would keep him from having his manly waistline? I mean, once it becomes a beer gut, he may as well be "pregnant." He will certainly look the part and without the pain...;o]

Try it once. You won't like it. Then deal with a menstrual cycle. You might have to give up golf because your back hurts.
Be glad God didn't give you a "viagara" drip every two hours. You'd be wearing differnt clothes today.
