I think that the weather personnel are in cahoots with big oil. That's my theory and I'm stickin' to it!

So long as everyone has appropriate clothing and my larder is well-stocked, I don't worry about weather overmuch.

I don't remember all the words, and the version in my head is a very loose translation I of the original. I have read more litteral ones:

Farewell now to Alba, high house of the sun,
farewell to the mountains, the cliff and the dun.
Dun Sweeny, adieu, for my love cannot stay,
and I may not tarry when love calls away.

(I don't remember much more, but it says farewell to all the places where she and Naoise had gone in Scotland right before they were to return to Ireland and the fate that awaited them).

As a teen, I used to sing it to the tune of Farewell to Tarwaithie, which it fit pretty well.
