Thank You - I love Emily Dickinson! How about a little Sara Teasdale?

Barter

Life has loveliness to sell,
All beautiful and splendid things,
Blue waves whitened on a cliff,
Soaring fire that sways and sings,
And children's faces looking up
Holding wonder like a cup.

Life has loveliness to sell,
Music like a curve of gold,
Scent of pine trees in the rain,
Eyes that love you, arms that hold,
And for your spirit's still delight,
Holy thoughts that star the night.

Spend all you have for loveliness,
Buy it and never count the cost;
For one white singing hour of peace
Count many a year of strife well lost,
And for a breath of ecstasy
Give all you have been, or could be.
Sara Teasdale

Thank you Amy. It's good to see you whenever I can get here.

I threw out the idea hoping one of the lightbulb-heads (someone with an idea) around here might pick up on it.

I think they're going to be keeping us busy for quite a while around here. Dunno how often or for how long I'll be able to stop in. I'll miss everyone. : (

Did it work?

(You don't wear hunting boots to work but regular shoes?)

Did someone say BBQ? This sounds pretty good.

ORIENTAL GRILLED CHICKEN

2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/4 c. honey
3 tbsp. golden sherry
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. finely chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp. ginger powder
1/2 tsp. pepper

In a bowl combine all marinade ingredients and mix well. Add chicken and turn to coat all pieces. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, turning occasionally.

Grilling method: Grill on low 30-45 minutes, brushing pieces with marinade and turning pieces frequently.
