Good poem! I know the lady well, and I'm proud to call her my FRiend!
Yes, I do. I found said whip, and it is only waiting a suitable..."reason" to be lifted from it's lofty perch.
I'm not into pain. But the threat, however, is there. ;o]
"Oh, my gosh, Amy! You are not helping me stay on my diet. :-("
Well, we can eat the sliced strawberry : )
Nor am I. My motto is, "No pain = No pain!"
But that cuckoo clock never misses a beat!
LOL!
Yeah! We were close to 70 degrees today. But I just got a call from my sister-in-law and she is bummed out.
She operates a gifts and herb store and she just got robbed.
She said there were about 7 Indians (from India) in her store just before she was getting ready to close the store. She had the weekend's receipts in her purse and the group of 7 thieves were working together. One diverted her attention while another spied and got away with her purse. They got her whole weekend's receipts, drivers license, etc., etc., etc. .....
(Fortunately, no credit cards were in there).
When I hear of such a thing it makes me angry. When it happens to my family or anyone I know, it really hurts and really makes me angry. I hate thieves. They are some of the lowest of the low imho.
AND!!! it's not operated by a BATTERY!
It makes me angry too! And that is weird about 7 guys from India! They normally are hard working non criminal types, at least here. I sure hope they catch the SOB's. Were they wearing a gold ring on one arm or turbans? Might help identify them.
Best, Tim
That is really a dirty thing. Liars and thieves go hand-in-hand in my book.
I hope she is able to overcome the trauma. She must feel totally violated and exposed.
Good aftenoon, MamaBear.
It's a good thing I don't try all the recipes that I post; I would weigh 300 lbs.
Today's Church Welcome Graphic is beautiful. Thank you for making it for me us.
*grin*
I had two choices ..... chocolate cheesecake day or dentist's day.
Now which would you have preferred? :)
:-(
No. Heck, no! Who would want to have a whip that was operated by a battery? Don't you know it would fail at a critical moment?
LOL! Hmmm... Let me think... ;-)
Thanks, my friend. She called the police and made a report, etc. The police said that since she didn't get a license plate number, they couldn't offer much hope of catching these ar$eholes. :^(
Yeah, she was very disheartened. Thanks.
Does a whip HAVE a critical moment? Actually, I was speaking of the cuckoo clock not having a battery!
Hi, Amy. Hope you are having a delightful Sunday.
It's a good thing I don't try all the recipes that I post; I would weigh 300 lbs.
I know what you're saying. LOL.
You're welcome for the graphic. Isn't that a beautiful Cathedral? Don't know where it is located, but it is pretty.
At least she wasn't hurt. Money can be replaced. At least she can write it off as an "extraordinary loss". Thank God she was not the loss!!
If they had touched her purse and discarded it, there may be prints on it. If the prints aren't in CODIS, it's a good chance the gang will do the same thing again, and the prints will be there, waiting for them.
Seven men seems like overkill. Maybe her store was a test. If so, the gang may get cocky and begin to make mistakes.
