HAPPY STUFF~ KITTEN HAIKU
A shoebox full of
kittens. Boundless energy
Wrapped in balls of fluff.
Black stripes on gray fur.
Violet eyes. Little
pink coral mouth and tongue.
Sharp little claws lost
in a rolling ball of yarn.
Is Kitten Heaven.
Hind legs flex and push.
Front paws splayed so wide. Falling
on silky sheets.
Leaping inside the
big brown bag. Feels so good on
my belly and paws.
Shoebox tissue is
the best. So slippery smooth.
Love the sound it makes.
