Hi Amy! Sorry I missed your birthday yesterday, I usually look at my pings and don't go to the thread. My time seems to be more limited on the internet lately.

I thought we might not work today due to an ice storm that was forecast but it was postponed till this afternoon and tonight and probably tomorrow. So don't know if I'll be here tomorrow. We're supposed to be able to go home early when we check out our last 2 customers, whenever they get here.

Hey, how did that snowball fight come out?

Condolences on your job situation C.G. Hope they find another good manager soon! Miss you.

Hi Amy! Happy Flower Basket Day to you too! I hope you are having a wonderful Tuesday. I'm keeping busy with my paper. It's kind of dreary out today. We got some ice earlier. It's raining out now. We are supposed to have a snow storm come in later tonight.

Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Thanks Amy.

Hey, I've been meaning to tell you... While I was at the Peach Bowl I saw a guy in a Fresno State jacket! I almost stopped him and asked if he knew you. hahaha

Awww, man! Thank you sooooo much for sharing. LOL

It felt like it didn't get out of the 40's today. I know that is warm compared to some parts of the country, but it's way too cold for me. :-(

Happy Flower Basket Day, everybody.

The flowers are lovely, but "I" am celebrating Trivia Day. By the way, do you know...

1. What is the outermost color in a rainbow?

2. According to English legend, what was the name of King Arthur's sword?

3. What cultural festival, celebrated mostly by African Americans at this time of year, is named for the Swahili word meaning first fruit of the harvest?

4. What 19th century scientist discovered that many diseases and infections are caused by germs which could be killed by heat?

5. What large mammal, that became extinct about 10,000 year ago, most resembled an elephant with two large cusps?

6. It was discovered in 1929 by explorer Richard Byrd, who named it in honor of his wife, Marie. Where on earth is Marie Byrd Land?

7. Identify the three major wine growing regions of France whose names begins with "A" or "B."

8. With last names listed in alphabetical order, what four U.S. Presidents are represented at Mount Rushmore in the black hills of South Dakota?

9. What 2-syllable word contains "gh" in each syllable?

10. Performed by street musicians in certain parts of Latin America, what kind of music is so named because it was first played at weddings?
