It's raining! My TV is out due to Satellite Rain Fade, too. :^(

I heard that somewhere in Central or South Texas got 15 inches
of rain in 6 hours! Yikes! :^O

I well remember 41 years ago today. November 22nd, 1963.

I was 9 years old and in the 4th grade, and we lived in Fort Worth.

Right after news of Kennedy's murder, they dismissed school early and I walked home.

It was a sad day and weekend for the country is what I remember.

And today is also my cousin's birthday.

I still remember him lamenting about Kennedy being killed on his birthday.

I didn't think you could fix it. I was just wanting to hear about something without rain in it. Laura Earl is always pleased when I write or say something without mentioning horses.

Very pleased. But you have to admit...rain is more essential than horses.

You can't ride rain along a trail or cross a creek on rainback.

I was riding raindrops in post number two.

Have you ever tried riding horseback in the snow?

The world is blanketed in silence. You hear the creaking of the treelimbs as they adjust to the load.

In the distance, muffled sounds indicate a falling clump of snow, or a small animal moving stealthily.

Small birds twitter excitedly, as if they have never seen this stuff before.

Even the horse seems calmed by the tranquility.

It's kinda like rain transformed by Magic.

I have ridden in many conditions including a Kansas blizzard. Kansas blizzards are more blow than snow.

The pre-school is celebrating with a Thanksgiving Feast today so Marissa goes to school later. Her project is finished but she is suppose to take pies for the dinner.
