Is this a fun trip or a work related one? A little bit of both. Mostly fun, though.
Early September is a great time of year up there. It's still summertime, but the resort towns aren't as crowded as they are in July and August.
There's just a touch of fall in the air, and you can almost feel the first hints of snow in the cool air that rolls down from the mountains on cloudy days.
