In Fresno, when the temps reach 105 or higher, we have found the solution.

Wow... 105. It's unusual for it to get that warm here. But in the summer, we will get real close to 100. And in the winter we can get sub-zero temps. (I'm in IL btw)

Seemed like a waste of time for people to take off work to sit there and then not be called. Agree. Any exciting case? Maybe exciting isn't the right word.

No, I had an alternate cover for me -- so I could see my folks on Father's Day. Next Sunday is our last game -- we need a win to have a chance to make the playoffs.

The only case I ever served on was one for drunk driving.
I refuse to be on the jury for that man who murdered all of his children! I already have my opinion on that.
My son was on a rape case once and hubby was on several lawsuit cases.

Yep. What's bad, though, is that if we make the playoffs I'm going to miss the first playoff game -- because I'm traveling for work over the 4th of July weekend! :-(
