She Said
We went out to our jewelry store,
To see just what was there.
We looked at rings with diamonds,
One-Carat Solitaire.
She found the one that caught her eye,
I asked if they would clean it.
I louped it under different lights,
It jumped to life I mean it.
I hit one knee and asked her if,
She would become my wife.
The answer that came from her lips,
Was strange, you bet your life.
There I knelt with heart a pound,
Expecting shed say yes.
Instead with tears she issued forth,
Well sure, I mean, I guess.

Never Have I Fallen
Your lips speak soft sweetness
Your touch a cool caress
I am lost in your magic
My heart beats within your chest
I think of you each morning
And dream of you each night
I think of your arms being around me
And cannot express my delight
Never have I fallen
But I am quickly on my way
You hold a heart in your hands
That has never before been given away

Love Triumphant
Rapidly does life eat the time
Fancies pass as days go by
'Til we find someone we can't forget
Someone with fine features, fresh wit
And sticks to you like wet candies, and just as sweet
The jack of hearts stealing the queen's
Sly in his methods, sly in your own
Working slowly together to share the crown
Love like a thorn thrust through both your hearts
Making you one in the pain you share
Together, apart, your purpose united
Following love's torch lit
To happiness eternal
Love fusing two souls in one

Lori ..... Thank you for coming through at the last minute for me again. Any time, Amy. I can't always spend much time here, so the least I can do, since my name is on the thread, is to help out with graphics when you need them.

Stay Within God's Limits
Read: Ephesians 5:15-21
See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise. Ephesians 5:15.
Bible In One Year: Ezra 1-2; John 19:23-42
One of life's greatest enjoyments for Suzannah Worl is riding her Harley-Davidson motorcyle. In a devotional article for Covenant Publications, she wrote about cruising the streets of Chicago with her friends late one summer night. They were riding along the shore of Lake Michigan, enjoying the bright moonlight and gentle breeze off the water.
Suddenly the lead motorcyclist took off and several of the group went with him, reaching speeds of 100 miles an hour. Suzannah was tempted to join thembut she didn't. She knew it was not safe and it was against the law. So she held back, continuing at normal speed.
Sometimes the way others live seems far more attractive and exciting than our Christian life. We're tempted to disobey God's commands or compromise principles from His Word. But we are called to live each day with self-discipline and spiritual discernment. The apostle Paul said, "Walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise" (Ephesians 5:15).
We need to ask the Lord for His help so that we'll see situations through His eyes and make wise choices. As we obey Him and stay within His limits, we will find true joy and lasting satisfaction. Dave Egner
Living for Jesus a life that is true,
Striving to please Him in all that I do;
Yielding allegiance, glad-hearted and free,
This is the pathway of blessing for me. Chisholm
The wise know God's limitsfools know no bounds.

Thanks for the great picture of Jim Robinson.
Like Ronald Reagan, one man can change the world.
