Wishing you all a great day at Amy's Place.
Oh, I just happen to have some photos of our little scrub jay family that is living in our lemon tree. Aren't they adorable? I am getting attached to them and have to keep reminding myself that they are going to grow up to be mean, just like their parents............juvenile delinquents waiting to happen. LOL

Great photos!

I'm glad we can say that with out tortuous repercussions or consequences.

"Every seed reproduces after it's own..." Uh huh.......well, as much as I love wildlife, they can reproduce somewhere else next year - like in the park behind us. The parents really have made our lives miserable this spring. But, as the babies get to where they can fly better and fend for themselves, the parents seem to be less protective. At least I was able to get my roses pruned without getting attacked yesterday. :-)
To: Mama_Bear
We had some birds make a nest above our front porch several years in a row. Fortunately they did not attack us, but I felt badly every time I had to go out and the mama was waiting for me to leave so she could feed her babies. Once they find a good spot I think they tend to come back. (Did we take that nest down?)

Lovely graphic, Billie.....and, lovely poem, Old Sarge.
Welcome to Amy's Place, Sarge!

Some days are better than others. It's a slow process, but the back seems to be getting better. Thanks. ;^)

Most of my photos are humiliating (the photos with me in 'em, not the ones I take of other people, things, or places.)
To: MeekOneGOP
Would a massage help, or just make it worse?
To: PreviouslyA-Lurker; ST.LOUIE1
Shhhhhhh, don't tell anyone, but Louie has had me in "shock and awe" since the day I met him. LOL! ;-)
Unfortunately, I need to take off for awhile. See you later, PAL.

I am an accomplished photographer. It is hard for me to be on the other side of the camera, but at least I understand why the photographer wants everyone to pose a certain way, so I am very cooperative.

I have some wonderful recipes for everyone! I know 18year old men arn't suposed to cook like women do but I can't help it its fun^_^
The first one is:
German Pancakes
Ingredients:
2 egg
6 Tbl. flour
6 Tbl. milk (preferably 2%)
2 Tbl. butter (margarine doesn't work very well sorry)
Cooking items:Blender, Hot iron skillet, Oven
Step 1:heat oven to 420, Bake NOT Preheat
Step 2:put butter in skillet let set in oven while heating (Don't let butter brown or bern)
Step 3:set timer for 1min.liquefy egg in blender for 30sec. at 30sec. Then while blender and timer are still going add flour THEN milk and blend till timer goes off. by now the butter should be done melting.
Step 4:turn skillet until butter covers skillet and pour batter into skillet. bake for 13min.
Step 5:when Pancake is done put on plate and cover with butter, powder sugar, and lemon juice for added zing. And enjoy!
P.S. The Pancake looks either like a bowl or a mountain when it is done. For higher sides try to have the room as quiet as possible when cooking. I guess even food is temper-mental LOL!ENJOY!!!

I'm cooperative with the photographer too. I think the problem is the subject itself, in my photos, and no pose can make it any better. (Maybe I should try that smiling brown bag I saw in a previous thread...)
I liked the photos of you, Laura Earl, and your family. Everyone looked very confident and comfortable together! You all really looked like you were celebrating.
To: PreviouslyA-Lurker
Of course we were celebrating.
I hate posed pictures but that gives the photographer a reason to charge so much.
When I used to do professional photography during my free time, I was a pro at making the shots look natural.
I need to get back into it as a hobby and do a crappy book that no one will buy.
