Today is Cinqo de Mayo, Spainish for the 5th of May, to celebrate Mexican liberation. (However, I do not know from whom they were liberated, and everyone I have asked doesn't know either.)

Mom used to watch As the Stomach Churns, er.. As the World Turns away back in the day.
(Early 80's)
And, of course, everyone watched Dallas..
*ugh!*
I just wanted to see cartoons at the time.
And when JR Ewing got shot, I cheered!
Served the Ted Kennedy wannabe right!
After taht, I could go on with my cartoons and have the TV to myself without fear of having to hear, "I'm really your evil twin brother!"
"But, why does that mean we can't love each other?"
All to really horrible drippy music..

With today being a party day, I decided the dog should make his debut!!

Thank you both. He may be silly, but the dog makes a cute graphic and the poem Bob wrote is just right to accompany it.
