Of course, I've wandered through many threads here on FR and probably will do so for awhile to come.
And have crossed paths with many people I speak to in other threads.

Life is full of paths we walk
Ever winding, twisting, over itself recrossed
Under the shady trees of mind,
amid the moss of memory
Come along over these paths we walk

Well, I hope it was an old shoe then...

:) Actually, I do think I've had a slipper or two chewed up, and one puppy we had chewed up the low voltage wiring and lights in our patio area. Hard to get upset with them; they're too cute!

Imagine poems that cheer people up.

Tingling

Do you hear the singing
At the birth of the day?
Can you hear the music
That is coming this way?
Feel the rhythm
That is throbbing today
As we dance the movements
Of the morning.

There is a melody
Slices through our life:
Peels off the rubbish,
Like a sharpened knife.
Can you feel a tingling
Waiting for the cut?
So vibrant plays the music
We are living.

Here is lovely lullaby
Lulling you to sleep.
Here is where pink angels
Into rhythms creep.
This is where our poems
Into darkness leap.

I once had a puppy who liked to carry my rabbit fur slippers, but I didn't like that and let her know. My cat however, may have possibly chewed on some expensive stereo speaker wires.
