Springtime

Grand and glorious springtime days,
Just a touch of summer's warmth;
Just a touch of winter's chill,
Still hanging on the windowsill.

Grand and glorious springtime days,
Just a touch of color here;
Just a hint of blossom there,
The look of magic everywhere.

Grand and glorious springtime days,
Just a touch of earth reborn;
Just a touch of earth's awakening,
Joy is ours for the taking.

Grand and glorious springtime days,
Just a touch of what's to come;
Just a look into the days,
When we shall see the summer's haze.

Good morning everyone. It's a miracle I'm here. Got home late last night, but am having severe computer problems (on top of having a heck of a time finding the path into FR, LOL) so I am going to try to get this posted for Amy before I crash again.

I will talk to you all later after I get my computer tech guy over here to troubleshoot and fix whatever my problem is. Wishing all a wonderful day!

Oh, no. Frost's birthday? I was sure you were going to announce, da, da: Spinach Festival Day!

The Spinach Problem

My friend has spinach in his teeth.
I don't know what to do.
If I tell him, he'll be mad at me.
If I don't, he'll be mad too.

If I let him walk around
with spinach hanging from his gums
how can I believe that we're true friends,
that we're true chums.

But if I'm the one who tells him,
He might think that I am mean.
My friend has spinach in his teeth,
but I don't want a scene.

Maybe if I wrote a note
and didn't sign my name.
Maybe if I gave him hints
like part of some fun game.

No, I just can't do it.
I just cannot tell my friend
that he has spinach in his teeth,
our friendship sure will end.

Uh Oh, here comes Rebecca.
She is sure to make a fuss.
She'll see the spinach in his teeth
and then tease both of us.

She told him! Told him right up front!
And now he's thanking her.
I can't believe it, there they go,
great friends, Oh, I'm so sure!

So now I sit here all alone.
Shoulda spoken, I suppose.
Think I'll go tell Rebecca
she's got something in her nose.

Anytime that you ever have trouble getting on FR, go there. If other folks are having trouble, you'll see posts by Freepers there.

LOOK for posts from John Robinson (or perhaps Jim Robinson). He is real good to post there so folks know what the problems are and how long before the problem is resolved, etc.

Yesterday, John Robinson posted THIS message for us.

We're waiting on GKG to press some buttons and turn us back on. But I wouldn't be surprised if this took hours on their part. :-(
