Thank you for the poem about the swan. It reminds me of a time when I was very young (maybe 2). My grampa and gramma took me to a local park that had a pond with swans and ducks on it during the summer. We fed them bread. My grampa loved children.

Have you ever been to Stratford (Ontario)..???? home of the Summer Shakespeare festival & seemingly thousands of swans. The swan is the symbol of & enchant the lovely community. If you ever have the opportunity to get there for a few days, there is a LOT to enjoy/experience

Good Morning! EVERY DAY is 'cuddley kitten day' at my house!
Sunday I was sitting down occupied with an activity and my cat decide he needed to be on my lap. So he jumped up and wrapped his front legs across the top of my thigh and dug in his claws to get a better grip to pull himself up. I could see the exprssion of effort on his little face as he was trying to pull himself up. I couldn't take it and had to scream. Poor guy had to run away from this mad woman to save himself.

I wish I could have a cat. My mother is violently allergic. Plus I have a very mean poodle. She asassinated my budgie by knocking over her cage.

DeGuillo? sounds familiar from several movies Si. El Deguello. Also known as the *red-flag song* or the *cut throats song*. Reportedly played by Santa Anna's musicians at the Battle for the Alamo, and a few times before and since.
That's one of the cheery tunes that follows me around here and there; This'n is the other.

I am not kitty-less today, but always enjoy cuddling another kitty. *cuddles to Sasso and Killian, and a consolation cuddle for Pepper-the-good-for-nothing-dog*

Thanks much!

WOOHOO! GO KITTY GO! My cat likes to play fetch with the seals off of milk bottles, etc. He sometimes brings one to me to initiate a game. Mayor, if your cat plays catch and mine plays fetch do you think they could somehow get together for a game? On second thought, never mind. My cat's VERY territorial, his game with another cat would not involve a ball or a milk bottle seal.
