Welcome to Threat Matrix 2024
For historical reference TM2023 link is
https://freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/4120141/posts?page=1#1
Established in 2001, after the 9/11 attack on America and now in its 23nd year, this thread is designed to identify threats to America, both internal and external, and evaluate the probability of those threats occurring and the extent of potential damage. Discussions may stray into ‘tinfoil’ territory, but the goal is to peel back and confirm information so we can make informed decisions and actions. Incredible as it seems, “tinfoil” conspiracy theories have fast become realities so they can no longer be ignored outright, but must be evaluated and compared to current events.
2023 has been “historic”: Continued inflation Record illegal immigration Record crime Record housing prices and Unprecedented prime lending rate increases. Push to globalize the economy, food production and energy
I expect 2024 to be even worse as we are facing, among many things -
- 2024 is a political year with all the deep divisions and turmoils that brings. - Political assassinations - The potential for a serious and deep recession - CBDC stripping Americans of their free use of money - Race and other ethnic wars in the US as illegals mark out territory - Continued massive increase in crime - Further movement towards implementing the goals of the WEF via its “global reset” - - Continued combat in Ukraine that could spill out into other parts of Europe - Potential Chinese move on Taiwan – breaking analysis - Israel and Hezbollah/Iran finally directly going at it. - Other political turmoil growing globally over a wide range of issues. - Potential for a wide variety of Black Swan events to create even greater problems. . And this is just a short list.
It has been my pleasure to continue this thread over the past few years. This thread hopefully is continuing the goals of when it started.
For those who care, my posts reflect my scanning of the interwebs to provide me with early warning concerning factors that can endanger my life and family. Yes, I’m what many would call a “prepper”, and proudly accept that characterization.
How can something happening half way around the world affect me personally? Wuhan virus, my friend is but one recent example. I noted it in TM Dec 2019 and was prepared when chaos hit in 2020.
Other events have secondary and tertiary affects that reach us via shortages and inflation – fossil fuel prices are the most common, as well as economic impacts. I simply share news items and often my opinions that shape my actions and preparations.
My posts are broken down into specific topics and regions. I highlight and evaluative opensource reports in those areas in regard to how it will affect the US. Sometimes it feels like trying to drink from a fire hose and I don’t expect this to let up, only increase as the year progresses.
Will we even make it to the 2024 elections without things flying apart? Will the democrats / leftist manage a way to steal the election? Will the US find itself in the early stages of a civil war / national split up? The year promises to be very bumpy, so buckle up and prepare yourselves for what is to come.
Hmmmm.... I’ll have to give that a try this year.
Globalism / Great Reset –
ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan has threatened US Congressmen for criticizing the recent judgement against Israel.
The ICC has made it clear that criticizing the court and threatening sanctions when it violates its own rules is illegal. The ICC is threatening to issue arrest warrants against 12 members of Congress.
OBSERVATION - The arrogance of globalist linked organizations like the ICC will continue to grow IMHO in the absence of strong push back from the United States.
Economy-
Inflation continues to re-accelerate, rising again in April according to personal consumption expenditures (PCE) price index data released by the Biden government on Friday. The PCE index, an important measure of inflation for the Federal Reserve, rose by 0.3 percent last month, meaning inflation remains stubbornly around three percent — still above the central bank’s two percent target.

After unexpectedly slumping last month to 37.9, the Chicago PMI index cratered even more unexpectedly in May, when it defied hopes of a rebound to 41.5, and instead tumbled even more, sliding to a cycle low of 35.4 which was not only below the lowest estimate, but was staggeringly low. (in comparison to previous lows) the economy is in a depression.
Looking at the report we find the following:
- Business barometer fell at a faster pace; signaling contraction
- New orders fell at a faster pace; signaling contraction
- Employment fell at a faster pace; signaling contraction
- Inventories fell at a faster pace; signaling contraction
- Supplier deliveries fell at a slower pace; signaling contraction
- Production fell at a slower pace; signaling contraction
- Order backlogs fell at a faster pace; signaling contraction
Did nothing rise? One thing did:
- Prices paid rose at a slower pace; signaling expansion
So we have not just a depression, but a stagflationary depression in which everything else is going to hell, except prices: they keep on rising.
OBSERVATION - The PMI is one of those magic numbers economists use to gauge the economy and its trends. Note that these are their opinions of the data. Theirs is not the only economic voice expressing concerns about potential stagflation, but it gets stark associating it with a depression.
Note too that the GDP for last month was lowered by .3 while inflationary pressures continue to increase (see PCE above).
Military / Strategic Activity / Deployments –
- USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) departed Japan for the final time & on patrol in the Western Pacific
- USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) carrier strike group (CSG) left Singapore & now operating in the South China Sea
- The Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) CSG is underway in the Red Sea, & will eventually be relieved by USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75)
- USS George Washington (CVN 73) arrived in Argentina & will circumnavigate South America to link up with Reagan in CA before heading to the Indo-Pacific
- USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) is underway conducting exercises off the West Coast in preparation for an upcoming Pacific deployment
- USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) was in Los Angeles for Fleet Week, & will participate in the RIMPAC exercises held near Hawaii from 26 June to 2 August

Things appear not to be working out for democrats like they thought following the kangaroo court conviction of Trump.
In the first post verdict poll, Trump got a 6 point bump in favorability ratings (Daily Mail).
In a NPR Poll: 67% of voters say Trump’s guilty verdict makes no difference in their vote. 15% say they want to vote Trump even harder now.
The Trump campaign has raised a total of $52.8 million in the 24 hours following Trump’s conviction in New York.
The amount means the Trump campaign is raking in over $2 million an hour.
The Trump campaign also reported that over a third of the donations came from new donors.
OBSERVATION - How sustainable is this bounce? With something like 6 months to the election it is hard to say. But the likely longest lasting impact is the overall view that this was rigged and concern that the democrats have destroyed the justice system in their frenzy to ‘get Trump’. This is something Trump can play on, but don’t over play it. Other critical items such as the economy, illegals, crime, etc are still higher on the minds of Americans at this point. It has seemed that the bear has finally gotten tired of being poked by the regime and is rousing itself. Perhaps like the resurrection of the “silent majority”. But these numbers should be putting a damper on leftist celebrations soon, if they hold.
Biden / Harris Watch –
Biden announced a new ceasefire proposal to keep Hamas in power and vowed the American taxpayer will pay to rebuild the Gaza Strip.
Illegal Immigration –
The Biden administration is preparing to announce new executive action on the border crisis as early as Tuesday, two sources familiar with the matter told CNN.
The sources stressed that the timing of the order is variable.
Similar to the controversial Title 42 from the Trump era, the executive action reportedly centers on presidential authority in immigration law, known as section 212(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act.
According to the Florida-based Messersmith Law Firm, which specializes in immigration law, section 212(f) “allows the President to prohibit entry into the US of any foreign national he deems would be detrimental to US interests.”
CNN reported that section 212(f) would be applied between ports of entry at the U.S.-Mexico border to stem the flow of illegal border crossings.
https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/biden-southern-border-executive-action/2024/05/31/id/1166989/
OBSERVATION - Purely a political move to try to stop the bleeding from an open border policy to show that now, after nearly 4 years, he’s getting tough on illegal immigration.
North/South Korea –
Video released of the recent massive NK missile test/demonstration has yielded some interesting info. More than half of the rockets start veering off course within seconds of launch - a fact that NK video editors missed in their release.
This would match Russian and potentially Iranian results from the same rockets.
Phillipines –
Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr has warned China not to cross a red line in the South China Sea, where a standoff between the countries continues to escalate.
If any Filipino died as a result of China’s wilful actions, he said on Friday, the Philippines would consider it as close to “an act of war” and respond accordingly.
Mr Marcos was speaking at a security forum in Singapore attended by defence chiefs from around the world, including the US’s Lloyd Austin.
Observers fear that any escalation could spark a conflict in the South China Sea between the Chinese and Americans. The US is bound by a treaty signed with the Philippines to come to the South East Asian nation’s defence, should it come under attack.
The US has said it will stand by its commitments to its allies in the region, and has sought to draw them closer including holding a summit with the Philippines and Japan last month.

OBSERVATION - China’s aggression in this region may start a shooting war before China has a chance to fully move on Taiwan.
Russia -
NUCLEAR THREATS –

Ukraine –
WEATHER FORECAST – Temperatures highs in the 80’s and fair.
24 HOUR ROUND UP –
Busy night for Ukraine ADA - Ukrainian air defense shot down 35 missiles and 46 Shahed drones overnight. Areas targeted appear to be the Odesa, Zaporizhzhia and Kirovohrad regions.
The US laid some strict terms for use of munitions against Russia proper. ATACMS not allowed to strike Russian territory. Other systems Ok’d The Ukrainian Armed Forces appear to have likely launched their first attack on the Belgorod Region using at least 8 Rockets from a M142 HIMARS to the South of Vovchansk.
Very little word on ground action overnight. Indicates little change from previous activity.
Outlook —
Russia has tried to restart it deep campaign against Ukraine in the face of a now more weapons free status for Ukraine counterstrikes. These counter strikes are still very limited, but significant in that it allows Ukraine to hit key troop build ups, logistics centers and command posts once off limits.
Ukraine has also been systematically hammering Russian air defense assets in Crimea, recently taking out a 100 million dollar early warning system. This suggests that Ukraine may be looking to use F-16s against Russians in Crimea and are clearing the way for them in a manner similar to how they took the Black Sea Fleet out of the formula. One key feature remains and that is the Kersch Strait bridge. Permanently take that structure out and Crimea loses a lot of logistical support. Russia has been utilizing other supply routes/methods to minimize the use of the bridge, hence Ukraine’s recent targeting of port facilities and equipment in the vicinity of the straits. Ukraine will still have a very tough fight to even get to Crimea, thru the massive mine fields and fortifications. Their final objectives are yet to be seen.
More weapons free operations also means Ukraine has the ability to utilize long range ADA, such as Patriot systems - to target Russian bombers throwing glide bombs toward Kharkiv and other eastern regions. Ukraine has done this in the past, but with the arms shortages, pulled those assets back to defend more critical areas of the country.
Key item to watch for is Russian response to deeper, accurate and deadly attack by Ukraine into its rear areas in Russian territories. Russia has repeatedly raise the threat of nukes as well as directly attacking France, Britain and other NATO nations. Current assessment is that Russia will not carry out those threats.
Europe / NATO General –
NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg firmly rejected Russian President Vladimir Putin’s warnings about the escalation risks if Ukraine uses Western-supplied weapons for strikes inside Russian territory. Stoltenberg’s comments came during a NATO foreign ministers’ meeting in Prague.
“This is nothing new. It has been the case for a long time that every time NATO allies provide support to Ukraine, President Putin tries to threaten us to stop,” Stoltenberg stated. “Russia has escalated by invading another country.”
Stoltenberg emphasized Ukraine’s right to strike legitimate military targets inside Russia, particularly near the frontline. “Ukraine has the right to self-defense, and we have the right to help Ukraine uphold that right,” he asserted. “This does not make NATO allies a party to the conflict.”

The EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen also reacted to the proposed deal on X, calling the three step approach “balanced and realistic.”

Hezbollah fired a Burkan rocket at Israel on Saturday, which impacted and caused significant destruction to military buildings and infrastructure in the North, Israeli media reported. A Burkan rocket carries hundreds of kilograms of explosive material and a combat warhead capable of operating at a radius of 1.5-5 kilometers, Walla noted.
The IDF announced on Saturday morning that the Israeli air force conducted targeted strikes on Hezbollah’s terrorist infrastructure in the areas of Qana, Hmaileh, and Aadloun in southern Lebanon overnight. A Hezbollah observation post and two military structures were also struck in the areas of Tayr Harfa, Jibba, and Khaim.

Houthis claim they hit the USS Eisenhower with a combined missile strike. That claim was denied by US officials.
However, the attempt may have been serious enough to generate a counter strike by coalition forces-
Early on Friday Yemen’s Houthis announced what appears to be the biggest mass casualty attack by the Western coalition since Red Sea hostilities began in the wake of Oct.7.
The joint British-U.S. airstrikes happened Thursday, and killed at least 16 people and wounded 35 others, according to Houthis statement. “We confirm this brutal aggression against Yemen as punishment for its position in support of Gaza, in support of Israel to continue its crimes of genocide against the wounded, besieged and steadfast Gaza Strip,” Houthi spokesman Mohammed Abdulsalam said.
The strikes primarily focused on the port city of Hodeida. Pentagon confirmed that US F/A-18 fighter jets were involved in the operation over Yemen, having taken off from the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier in the Red Sea.
Officials said additional warships also participated, which included attacks on “underground facilities, missile launchers, command and control sites, a Houthi vessel and other facilities.”
The UK Defense Ministry also revealed its involvement, with a statement saying Royal Air Force Typhoon FGR4s conducted strikes on Hodeida and locations south in Ghulayfiqah.
UK’s military said it targeted “buildings identified as housing drone ground control facilities and providing storage for very long-range drones, as well as surface-to-air weapons.”

——— FORECAST ————————-
Rafah continues to be the operational focus for the IDF. Anti-tunnel operations along the Philadelphia corridor will likely accelerate.
Recent operations have uncovered more Hamas militarization of UN facilities, schools and hospitals.
I expect Hamas to be attempting to exfiltrate as many forces out of Rafah north in to the rest of Gaza as possible to avoid destruction in detail. Israel has set up surveillance over central and northern Gaza to detect the reassembling of these forces, enabling quick strike actions to take them out.
Some assessments indicate that Hamas is running short of rockets and other weapons/munitions. I’m not convinced because Israel has only been able to destroy a portion of the underground storage Hamas has created and evidence that some Hamas elements are using undiscovered tunnels to ambush IDF elements.
It is expected the Gaza operations will continue for several more months, if not until the end of the year to locate and destroy the underground network.

Globalism / Great Reset –
Hundreds of officials from dozens of countries have put the leader of the World Health Organization on notice that if he persists in violating WHO rules to adopt a controversial global pandemic agreement or amend the International Health Regulations (IHR), it will render those provisions “null and void.”
Delegates remain huddled in Geneva as the clock ticks away the remaining moments of the 77th annual World Health Assembly, where some had hoped to finalize the pandemic agreement and pass amendments to the IHR, which would allow a global governance institution to guide some of the most sensitive areas of sovereign nations’ health care policy.
As of this writing, 216 elected officials from 34 nations have signed a letter instructing WHO Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus that any effort to adopt the proposed WHO Pandemic Agreement or IHR amendments this week would “violate the principles of good governance,” break organizational rules, and usher in an era of “tyranny and oppression.”
The most recent draft of the pandemic agreement would compel Americans to turn over 20% of their supplies to WHO for “equity”-based global redistribution, follow WHO policies on “routine immunization” and “social measures” such as lockdowns, and accept a “One Health” policy that equates human life with plants and other life forms. The uncertainty of multiple provisions makes the treaty “a blank check” to “unaccountable committees,” say the elected officials, including eight Republican Members of Congress.
“It is generally seen that the pandemic agreement is going to be kicked down the road months or several years,” said Travis Weber, vice president for Policy and Government Affairs a Family Research Council, on “Washington Watch” Wednesday.
Even if WHA delegates overcome their contentious disputes over financial commitments and intellectual property rights belonging to Western pharmaceutical companies, the letter signers argue the WHO must wait for months to move forward. “Proceeding with the adoption of new amendments to the IHR or the proposed pandemic treaty” at the WHA “would be contrary to law,” the officials observe. “Should you proceed, any resulting agreement will immediately be null and void.”
“Using potential pandemics as a pretext to violate the principles of good governance erodes trust and undermines international cooperation when it is most needed,” they add. “Without the rule of law, tyranny and oppression prevail.”
The latest text of the WHO Pandemic Agreement contains at least three open-ended provisions members which must sign, sight unseen:
- The WHO Pandemic Agreement states that implementation of its One Health philosophy will be codified in a new treaty or agreement to be presented on May 31, 2026 (Article 5:4).
- It establishes a Global Supply Chain and Logistics Network, something akin to a global central planning agency overseeing the production and redistribution of vaccines and emergency equipment. But WHO will not define its rules and procedures until the “first meeting” of the Conference of the Parties, a group of unelected officials from all member nations.
- It also sets up a “Coordinating Financial Mechanism” to fund the WHO’s ambitions, but WHO will not consider its regulations until one year after the treaty has taken effect (Article 20:4).
“This essentially forces [m]ember [s]tates to sign a blank check,” write the people’s representatives.
OBSERVATION - What was once thought to be a shoe in has fallen apart. Interesting that the points listed above ignore the more significant weasel wording that would grant the WHO the powers to include a wide range of other issues as a world health emergency such as global warming or gun violence. The next significant date is May 31, 2026, giving the globalists two more years to get their goals met.
That is until they can hatch another plandemic to force the original ‘treaty’ language forward.

The Governor held a press conference after the tour, providing more details about the latest developments at the base camp.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) operation in Rafah has exposed the existence of a secret overpass between Egypt and Gaza, which Hamas could use to import anything without international supervision, according to the Jerusalem Post.
Lt. Col. Amit Yagor (Res.), a former intelligence officer, wrote:
[Egypt] enables an entire industry of smuggling tunnels from its territory to the territory of the Gaza Strip and, in practice, constitutes the organization’s “oxygen pipe” and a main source of illegal weapons, ammunition, and prohibited materials that enabled the establishment of “Deep Gaza.”
The highlight was the existence of an overpass between Egypt and Gaza – the Salah al-Din crossing that was used for the movement of goods from Egypt to the Gaza Strip without any Israeli or international supervision. It was not widely publicized and operated in addition to the famous Rafah crossing.
Apparently, the economy of the tunnels/goods/crossings and the industry that developed on Egyptian soil contributed quite a bit to the quiet that Egypt asked to preserve in the Sinai Peninsula, and hence the Egyptian interest in not eliminating it, as Egypt knew how to do in many other cases.
Egypt had opposed an Israeli operation in Rafah, as had the Biden administration. It is clear now that Egypt wanted to cover up its role in Hamas’s smuggling and importing of weapons. The Biden administration may also have wanted to preserve the image of Egypt as a U.S. ally.
OBSERVATION - This should not surprise anyone. Corruption in arab nations is part and parcel to the everyday life. In the case of Egypt, as long as Hamas and the other radical islamic terror groups minded their own business - and kept it in Gaza - and not spread it into Egypt they were content to turn a blind eye to this operation. Not to say that there were likely considerable sums of money payed to key Egyptian authorities too boot.

Much of the current ‘war’ is political and the latest spat that biden has created isn’t going away soon. Early announcement by biden stated that Israel had accepted his three part plan to end the conflict. A claim that Netanyahu quickly put down. biden’s plan gives Hamas everything it wants - and Israel gets nothing except the Qatar promise that Hamas will behave itself in the future.
I don’t see much change in the tempo of the Gaza operations. IDF continues to isolate and eliminate Hamas and affiliated terrorists, locate and destroy tunnels and bunkers and continue searching for hostages.
Mexico -
Mexicans are going to the polls on Sunday in an election which is almost certain to see the country’s first female president elected.
Both the front runner, Claudia Sheinbaum, and her main rival, Xóchitl Gálvez, are far ahead in the polls of the only male candidate, Jorge Álvarez Máynez.
Voters will also elect all members of Mexico’s Congress and governors in eight states, as well as the head of Mexico City’s government.
The campaign has been overshadowed by violent attacks, which have resulted in more than 20 local candidates being killed across Mexico.
Ms Sheinbaum, a 61-year-old scientist who served as mayor of Mexico City from 2018 to 2023, has the backing of the outgoing president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cp4475gwny1o
OBSERVATION - If this happens, expect little change in the support given to illegals passing thru Mexico and shuttled to the US. Sheinbaum appears to be an even softer liberal than the current president Obrador. Particularly softer on ‘crime’ with no clearly stated plan to deal with the drug cartels that are the defacto rulers of large areas of Mexico.
Misc of Note –
Well, I’ve noted tornado, hurricane seasons, Solar storms and now it is fast becoming time to look at another plannable disaster - fire season.
“Evacuations were ordered in San Joaquin County due to the rapidly spreading Corral Fire, which has burned 11 047 acres (4 470 ha) southwest of Tracy, California as of June 1, 2024.
The Corral Fire has consumed 4 470 ha (11 047 acres) after igniting on June 1 near Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Site 300, southwest of Tracy (population 97 328), according to Cal Fire. “
With a wet winter - especially in kalifornia - the risk of wildfires grows almost exponentially thru out summer into fall as the rains stop and summer heat dries out the abundant undergrowth there from the winter rains. But it is a threat throughout the west, now kalifornia alone.
If you are in a wildfire prone / potential area you need to get your act together now by planning and preparing. Get important papers together, pack bug out bags, ready pets and livestock. Perhaps most importantly is to enhance your communications stance and verify potential evacuation routes.
Early warning is critical and never wait until the govt calls for an evacuation - get out early. Have comms / news sources that help identify where the fire front is in respect to evacuation routes to choose the safest and quickest way out. The Paradise CA fire of over a decade ago not only caught residents unexpected, but created a death trap on the road leading out of the town, killing numerous caught in the traffic jam.
Included in this is some sort of two way radio for backup. Cell comms may quickly fail and in remote areas, very poor service at that. GMRS has exploded into popularity with FCC licensing only requiring a fee, opening up dozens of channels with high wattage capability. Stand by Ham radios and CBs also fill the gap.
Finally, do a smart thing and pre-coordinate with family / friends if you are planning to show up there if you have to evacuate. That will make things go a lot smoother than showing up at their door in the middle of the night.
Why is this important? Evacuees really should NOT go to a Red Cross center for shelter. You will lose a lot of your rights just to be allowed in and you aren’t even guaranteed food. Too many disasters in the past show the RC centers to be cruel in their rules. Seek shelter if necessary with any other group - particularly church related (though some churches have set up agreements with the RC for use of their facilities - again stay away). This is why pre-coordinating with family and friends is important.
Never forget to plan in pets. Too many times people just leave the door open for the pets to fend for themselves. If that is your plan, re-home your pets now,
White (Western) guilt stated the death process with the BUD Light movement...then coughed and wheezed with the DEI crapola and now is gasping on the Hamas/commie college evil... So this isn't going to fly. WHO and the UN are finished - they just don't know it let.
A lot of activity bubbling up in other areas now that the verdict and most aftershocks have passed.
CW2 / Domestic violence - Heightened THREAT
June 8 - Surround the WH.
***
ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism), an anti-war group founded three days after the September 11, 2001 attacks, has launched an event to “Get on a bus to DC” and “Surround the White House for Palestine.”
“June 8 marks 8 months of US-Israeli genocide of the Palestinian people, and marks the 54th anniversary of the occupation of Gaza. A month ago, Biden said that the invasion of Rafah was a red line. But now, the invasion of Rafah has continued for weeks, has expanded to the entire Gaza Strip, Biden’s red line is nowhere to be seen,” ANSWER wrote on its website.
The group continued, “Biden can’t draw the line, but we can. On June 8, we will come together from across the country and surround the White House.”
OBSERVATION - I noted this event last week. It looks like it maybe growing legs as Israeli operations maintain tempo in Rafah. Embedded in this call to assemble, other groups/elements have included calls for violence. It is uncertain if an attempt to breach the WH security fence is being planned or just targeting less protected buildings/features in DC.

HBO ‘Real Time’ host Bill Maher has predicted that if Donald Trump is sentenced to any prison time, there will be a civil war that will quickly evolve into a race war because of MAGA supporters.
“Here’s the key question: Is he going to go to jail? Would this judge dare do that?” Maher said, adding “And should he? I heard some people say if his name wasn’t Donald Trump he would definitely get jail time.”
“MAGA nation will go nuts. I don’t know if that’s a reason to or not to do something, but they will,” Maher continued during the discussion with former Obama chief strategist David Axelrod.
Maher went on to suggest that “because the judge’s name was Juan,” putting Trump in jail would lead to racial political violence.
“Everything becomes racial in this country. That’s partly because of our horrible, despicable racial past, partly because some of that racism lives on in the present and some of it because the far left makes everything racial. But that’s what it’s going to be.” Maher further posited.
“A civil war in this country, I’m sorry to say, becomes a race war. That’s the sad truth about this country,” the host continued, adding “And if they put him in jail, I mean, the first thing his supporters are going to say is, ‘Oh, that’s what it is.’ A Black district attorney. You know, all these people who are the district attorneys, they’re black. The judge was not White. This is what it is.”
https://modernity.news/2024/06/02/maher-if-trump-goes-to-jail-there-will-be-a-racial-civil-war/
OBSERVATION - Maher is a mouth piece of the center left. In this dialogue he continues the left’s view of a civil war triggered by conservatives. Though he doesn’t say it, he, like other liberal mouthpieces, salivated for violence by the right in the face of the conviction last week. Now, too, the mantra of everything having a ‘racist’ basis - the only lens the left sees things thru - is the grounds for a CW.
Talking with a friend this weekend and he made the clear commentary that is applicable as well. The left sees violence as a means to an end, dialing up or down like a thermostat. The right sees it more like an on/off switch, preferring to work thru the dying methods of democratic processes and courts before burning the town down. Leftists seek to trigger a CW, but they don’t realize that once the right flips the switch, it won’t get dialed down and will get very ugly.

This weekend we saw the left eating the left as two privileged groups faced off. “Pro Palestine” protesters stop gay pride parade in Philadelphia.
This may well create an interesting dynamic as the likelihood of protests/rioting grow towards the Nov election. LGBT have been out in force supporting pro-Hamas protests and actions. Now the islamic factions are showing their true face. Will this deter future LGBT support of hamas?
Wuhan and other “new” Plandemics –
(The Epoch Times)—Myocarditis and pericarditis only occur after vaccination and not after COVID-19 infection, according to a recent preprint led by researchers at Oxford University, which compared health outcomes among COVID-vaccinated and unvaccinated children.
“Whilst rare, all myocarditis and pericarditis events during the study period occurred in vaccinated individuals,” the authors wrote. There were no deaths from myocarditis or pericarditis.
OBSERVATION - More evidence of the very negative effects of the jab and impact on young people. The write up seems to try to smooth over the dangers of the jab, but is forced to recognize that the jab is more hazardous than recovering naturally from wuhan.

Children who received the AstraZeneca or Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines faced an elevated risk of epilepsy and appendicitis, according to a new study.
Pfizer recipients were also more likely to suffer from demyelinating disease or heart inflammation, researchers found.
Dr. Julia Hippisley-Cox, a professor of clinical epidemiology at the University of Oxford’s Nuffield Department of Primary Health Care Sciences, and colleagues obtained data from a national database on COVID-19 vaccination, mortality, hospital admissions, and COVID-19 infections. They wanted to look at the link between COVID-19 vaccines from AstraZeneca, Pfizer, and Moderna with 12 outcomes, including the heart inflammation condition called myocarditis.
In the primary analysis, researchers found 12- to 17-year-olds who received Pfizer’s vaccine were at increased risk of myocarditis, with an additional three cases per million versus the expected rate after a first dose, and an additional five cases per million after a second dose, and hospitalization with epilepsy, with an additional 12 cases per million after a second dose. Females in the age group also faced an increased risk of demyelinating disease after receiving a second dose of the vaccine.
Researchers also identified a “substantially increased risk of hospitalization with epilepsy” among females after receipt of a first dose of AstraZeneca’s shot, with 813 more hospitalizations with epilepsy than expected per million doses, and an elevated risk of appendicitis after a second dose of the vaccine, with 512 excess events per million doses.
A secondary analysis, involving matching some of the vaccine recipients to unvaccinated children, confirmed an increased risk among 12- to 17-year-olds of hospitalization with epilepsy following Pfizer vaccination, and elevated risks of severe allergic shock and appendicitis in the age group following Pfizer vaccination. No increased risks of any outcome were identified among minor Moderna or AstraZeneca recipients. But among a group of 18- to 24-year-olds studied, elevated risks of a number of conditions were found, including myocarditis, immune or idiopathic thrombocytopenia, epilepsy, and acute pancreatitis.
OBSERVATION - The real grind is that this information became readily apparent early in the plandemic and concerns were buried by the globalist powers that be.

Biden / Harris Watch –
The Department of Justice is withholding the audio from President Joe Biden‘s interview with former special counsel Robert Hur due to fears that it will be altered by artificial intelligence, according to a court filing.
CNN, the Heritage Foundation, and Judicial Watch, among others, have all been denied Freedom of Information Act requests for the audio and have subsequently filed suit against the Justice Department. In response, it issued a court filing Friday night to explain why it won’t release the audio from Hur’s interview with Biden.
“Disclosure of that record is unwarranted,” the filing reads. “Release of the audio recording would threaten critical law enforcement interests by chilling the potential cooperation of witnesses in current and future sensitive investigations. In addition, disclosure would constitute a significant invasion of privacy. … These privacy harms are amplified by the threat of malicious manipulation of audio files that has recently become much more acute.”
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/justice/3025398/doj-deepfakes-withhold-hur-audio/
OBSERVATION - There is also a lot of talk that Garland/DoJ has now classified the audio/video of biden’s interview by Hur as CLASSIFIED (unknown level) / Sensitive Compartmented Information and stored in a SCIF. This follows evidence that the transcript that was released of the interview was altered to put biden in a better light.
Now lets be clear - if the interview is now classified at a compartmented level - the transcript derived from it would also be at the same classification level. Garland is definitely playing the game to keep the real interview out of the hands of the public knowing full well it would destroy any remaining level of belief that biden has the mental faculties to remain president.

This week’s White House Report Card finds President Joe Biden fighting off a new round of consultant backstabbing over his reelection campaign and continued efforts to replace him at the top of the 2024 Democratic ticket.
Democratic pollster and grader John Zogby described the battle as shameful and said that the “consultant-industrial complex” is in full panic mode months too early and at a time when they should be rallying around the president. What’s more, Zogby said that they are worrying for nothing, considering that some polls show Biden still tied with former President Donald Trump.
For his part, Trump had a miserable week, being convicted of 34 charges in New York.
The White House was socked again by a report that inflation was not cooling but remaining above the Fed’s 2% goal. And Biden offered up yet another Gaza peace plan without first winning any support from Israel.
Even worse, said conservative grader Jed Babbin, the administration’s efforts in Gaza turned disastrous when its $320 million humanitarian aid pier broke apart in a storm, what he called “the perfect metaphor for the Biden administration.”
OBSERVATION - This turmoil is being kept under wraps for now to avoid public scrutiny. How much longer is uncertain. Even though they said above that Trump had a miserable week - they ignore the massive response in both fundraising as well as at least a 6 point bump in support over biden.
I’ve noted before the dems are in a hole, they see support for biden and the agenda crumbling under the facts of bidenocomics and other policy disasters that are making the lives of americans miserable. But they have no bench to call upon to fix that and the puppeteers behind biden look to fight to the death if necessary to keep him as the candidate.

- Newscum - used car salesman and gov of a failing Kalifornia
- Mike 0bama - what ever “it” is.
Illegal Immigration –
The Biden administration is boasting its border policies are now cutting illegal immigration, but a new report has exposed a veritable shell game that is effectively covering its “mass amnesty” designs by making the numbers of asylum cases disappear.
More than 350,000 migrants cases have “terminated without a decision on the merits of their asylum claim” by the Biden administration if individuals did not have a criminal record or were not deemed a threat, the New York Post reported Sunday.
Those illegals are removed from the legal record and are not required to check in with authorities, allowing illegals to live “indefinitely” in the U.S. without fear of deportation.
“This is just a massive amnesty under the guise of prosecutorial discretion,” Center for Immigration Studies’ Andrew Arthur, a former immigration judge, told the Post.
“You’re basically allowing people who don’t have a right to be in the United States to be here indefinitely.”
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials confirmed the clandestine operation to the Post, urging the exposure of the increase of disappearing asylum cases.
https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/amnesty-immigration-joe-biden/2024/06/02/id/1167179/
OBSERVATION - One of multiple efforts by biden to root these illegals into the country and deter deportations.
Russia -
NUCLEAR THREATS –
A former Russian president on Friday warned that Moscow is not bluffing about its willingness to use tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine and said Kyiv’s international backers are making a “fatal mistake” if they think otherwise.
Dmitry Medvedev, an ally of Vladimir Putin and the deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, made the menacing remarks in reaction to reports that Western countries—including the U.S.—have given Ukraine permission to use their supplied weapons to strike targets inside Russia. “The current military conflict with the West is developing according to the worst possible scenario,” Medvedev wrote on Telegram.
“Russia regards all long-range weapons used by Ukraine as already being directly controlled by servicemen from NATO countries,” Medvedev wrote. He claimed that such activity does not constitute “military assistance” to Ukraine, but rather active “participation in a war against us.”
Medvedev claimed such actions “could well become a casus belli,” meaning an action which provokes war.
He went on to claim that NATO countries who control Ukraine’s long-range weapons or send a contingent of troops to support Kyiv would be committing a “serious escalation of the conflict.”
“Ukraine and its NATO allies will receive a response of such destructive force that the Alliance itself simply will not be able to resist being drawn into the conflict,” he said.
Medvedev also said “retired NATO farts” who claim that Russia would never use a tactical nuclear weapon—bombs designed for use on the battlefield which have typically lower yields than strategic nukes—had previously “miscalculated” by asserting that Russia “would not enter into an open military conflict” with Ukraine.
OBSERVATION - Medvedev has been blowing a lot about Russian nuke strikes against NATO nations for the past several years now. These threats are now hearing echos from putin and the Kremlin with the freeing up of the use of western supplied weapons on Russian territory in recent days as well as developing reports that France is going to move military into Ukraine to train soldiers.

At Kharkiv axis clashes today near Starytsia, - General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
Russia continued attacks around Chasiv Yar and Ocheretyne.
Outlook —
Ukraine is focusing on eliminating Russian logistics and command with its new authorization to strike Russian targets. Russian laxness in securing these targets is biting them on the rear big time.
Action one the Kharkiv front appear to have swung in favor of Ukraine.. Unconfirmed Russian milbloggers noting that Russian forces are being cut off from their logistical resupply and their armor/tanks are being decimated. Reports also note that a considerable number of the tanks are of the T-62 and T-54/55 era. Lack of armor reflected in motorcycle and ‘golf cart’ charges by infantry.
In action further to the south - Russia continues to launch attacks in an effort to maintain the initiative, but have been getting little to no results. Ukraine resupply has allowed them to resume the deadly hits on Russian logistics and destroying attack elements in piecemeal fashion.
Russia at the moment, seems slow to respond to the change in the battlefield dynamics. With most of their reserves committed and now uncommitted reserves threatened by HIMAR and other strikes they seem to be stuck in how to respond.
For Crimea, Ukraine is seriously softening it up. Russian continues to lose important ADA assets, the Black Sea Fleet is on the run. Russian airfields are exposed and the Kerch Bridge is endangered. The push by Ukraine into Crimea may well be enhance by CAS from F-16s. Air support has been seriously lacking last summer. Ukraine seems to be preparing the battlefield for a thrust into Crimea.

Mexico’s left-leaning climate scientist Claudia Sheinbaum has secured enough votes to become the Latin American country’s first-ever female president.
The country’s electoral institute published a rapid count estimate late Sunday night saying that Sheinbaum had won the presidential election. The estimate has a margin of error of +/-1.5%, the institute said.
In a speech after the preliminary results, Sheinbaum said the government will have “republican austerity, financial and fiscal discipline and autonomy,” according to a CNBC translation, adding that the country “will never have an authoritarian or oppressive government.”
“We will maintain the required division between the economic power and the political power. We will always defend and we will work for the ultimate interest of the people of Mexico and of the nation,” she said.
Sheinbaum also sketched out a loose vision of Mexico’s ties with neighboring U.S. under her stewardship. “With the United States, there will be a relationship of friendship, mutual respect and equality, as has been the case until now. And we will always defend Mexicans who find themselves on the other side of the frontier,” she said.

Biden admin to hold talks with Ukraine about allowing Kyiv to strike in more parts of Russia with US-provided weapons, NSC spox John Kirby told reporters yesterday.
Outlook —
Flush with re-arrmament and freer weapons use, it is becoming evident that Ukraine has stripped the initiative from Russia on a couple of key fronts. As noted previously, the Russian Kharkiv push has been stopped and is beginning to lose ground as Ukraine increasingly interdicts support - isolating the front line. Chasiv Yar has held against Russia assaults and Moscow maintains it as one of its key objectives - throwing resources at it only to have them destroyed in detail.
Ukraine also has Russia forces in Crimea in jeopardy. In addition to putting the Black Sea fleet on the run, Russia has lost considerable S300 and S400 ADA units as well as expensive regional early warning radar systems - exposing forces to even more drone and rocket attacks.
The question is - will Ukraine attempt a large scale offensive like last summer? I don’t think so at this moment. Much of the arms resupply are being burned through stopping the current Russian offensive. If Ukraine is holding back some elements I think they may be planning a more limited and targeted offensive. The most likely is to push Russia back to the border in the Kharkiv region - this has the highest likelihood of success. An even more ambitious one would be a push towards Crimea. That option is dangerous in that Ukraine faces the same massive minefields and defenses that stalled last year’s offensive. An alternative would be to launch a surprise assault utilizing the bridgehead in the Kherson sector over the Dniper River. This is currently the shortest route to Crimea for Ukraine forces. Last review, Russian defenses have been thinned in this sector thinking that the river would provide adequate deterrent from a large operations. This is where F-16 could provide localized air superiority and CAS to protect a crossing.
Russia’s counter deep strike forces have been quiet lately, yielding to Ukraine’s attacks. Two thought. 1) Russia has drained its stockpiles from previous massive attacks and/or 2) Russia is searching for logistical sites containing concentrated resupplied arms and munitions to mass a strike against. The last would suggest that Ukraine has rediscovered OPSEC - an issue that caused it a lot of problems in the early defensive fight against the Russian offensive.
Russia reportedly has lost over 35,000 troops in Apr/May. They are near the bottom of the barrel to continue the offensive for much longer.

A lot of rumbling over accelerated Israeli preparations for shifting the war into Lebanon. While there has been some Hezbollah escalation of late, the rocket attacks and ground activity that I’ve seen reported have not reached a level of tactical concern. The increase seem to be associated with losses of key Hezbollah and IRGC leadership to Israeli targeted strikes. A lot of the news releases over preparations for war in Lebanon may well be propaganda/psyops to keep Hezbollah and Iran uneasy.
Israel so far is operating with its active 12 brigades, most of whom are in Gaza. The reserves necessary for an even larger operation in Lebanon are not currently called up. Even though the IDF reserves are highly trained to activate and fall in on their equipment, an operation the size necessary to go into Lebanon will require these units to be activated and integrated into OPLANS prior to D day. It would be potentially very disastrous for Israel to attack with the relative few active brigades and wait the several days necessary for reserve units to come to speed and join the attack.
A growth n reserve activations is one of the key indicators to look for. However, IDF may in a sneaky way get many units activated under the guise of training ‘exercises’, each growing larger with progressive cycles. I’ve already seen at least 2 reports exercises in a Lebanese scenario.
Still, common sense would look to a significant reduction in the Gaza operations before an Israeli initiated assault on Hezbollah and S Lebanon. This is still months away.

OPEC+ reached an internal agreement to prolong its oil production cuts, a move that could raise energy prices in the U.S. ahead of the pivotal 2024 elections, Reuters reported Monday.
The oil cartel, made up mostly of Middle Eastern nations and other oil-producing states — is prolonging existing production cuts of 3.66 million barrels per day through the end of 2025 and extending its ongoing cuts of 2.2 million barrels per day through September 2024, according to Reuters. The cartel’s deal to extend the cuts could mean that oil prices will remain high through this fall’s presidential election, according to The Wall Street Journal.

And from Forbes who actually say that 500 billion is actually good news -
Forbes associates these losses as being the result of the increase in the rate higher interest rates causing the value of bonds and other fixed income assets held by banks, which were issued during a long period where interest rates hovered near zero, to plummet. This is the scenario that hit First Republic, Signature Bank and Silicon Valley Bank last year.
Despite the slight improvement, the report indicated the banking sector isn’t out of the woods just yet. In his press statement, FDIC Chairman Martin Gruenberg noted that the banking industry “continues to face significant downside risks from the effects of inflation, rising market interest rates, slower economic growth and geopolitical uncertainty.”

Yesterday was a big primary day for several states. Reading the tea leaves here in the Montana redoubt I’m trying to look outside the box for trends here. One thought is voter turnout and total voting. Primaries are often under voted and when turnout is high - so too energy for candidates is reflected. So I looked at total votes cast on two major races - President and Senate.
Total votes cast for President
- Trump 152,832
- biden 86,892
NOTE - Montana soundly voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020.
Senate
- Sheehe(R) 129,388
- Tester 95,534
Again, this is IMHO a crude look at what may pan out for the General election in November but is a good sign. Shows republicans are motivated to get out and vote and two there may well be little enthusiasm on the democrat side. This could make Montana redder and flip a senate seat.

Illegal Immigration –
Biden’s executive order to permit 2,500 illegal migrant entries per day has been met with swift rebuke, and critics say the plan, even if properly enforced, will still allow almost 1.8 million entries per year.
Earlier on Tuesday, Biden issued an executive order to shut down the U.S. southern border once illegal crossings reach 2,500 a day. According to a senior official in a background call previewing Biden’s announcement, the restrictions would be lifted after seven straight days of 1,500 crossings per day.
The New York Post broke down how the numbers permitted through Biden’s executive action, the written exceptions in the order, and the administration’s own parole program will still bring in almost 1.8 million migrants per year via various points of entry.
The new restrictions included plenty of exceptions including allowing migrants to cross the border if they use the CMP One mobile app at a port of entry as well as “unaccompanied children, victims of a severe form of trafficking, those who face an acute medical emergency or an imminent and extreme threat to life and safety and other non-citizens who have a valid visa or some other lawful permission to enter the United States,” the senior administration official said.

Israel believes more than a third of the remaining Gaza hostages are dead, a government tally showed Tuesday, as the United States sought to advance their recovery under a proposal to wind down the war with Hamas.
Of about 250 people dragged into the Gaza Strip by Hamas-led Palestinian gunmen during the Oct. 7 cross-border rampage that sparked the war, scores were freed in a November truce, while others have been recovered – dead or alive – by Israeli troops.
The government tally said 120 remain in captivity, 43 of whom have been declared dead in absentia by Israeli officials based on various sources of information, including intelligence tip-offs, CCTV or bystander videos and forensic analysis.
Some officials have privately said the number of dead could be higher.

——— FORECAST ————————-
I’m reading more and more statements regarding the readiness of Israel to tear into Hezbollah and in a relatively soon timeframe. Without massive reserve call ups I don’t see how they can kick a major operation off while still invested in Gaza. One of the stated goals of Israel is to push Hezbollah out of southern Lebanon and across the Litani River. That’s gonna take a lot of ground forces. Already the IAF has had little opposition in striking key Hezbollah targets and leaders and I would think they would continue to do this while avoiding a full up two front war.
Naturally i see much of the rhetoric being propaganda designed to put Hezbollah and IRGC/Iran at ill ease. Loss of leaders at multiple levels in all organizations has got to have put a kink in the planning for an Israeli offensive.
Israel is positioned to blunt any Hezbollah preemptive ground attack with rocket support. As seen in the Oct 7 response of the reserves, IDF could build forces very rapidly and launch its attack within a week.
I am monitoring another key indicator of Israeli action - the intensity and numbers of IAfF air strikes that could be deemed as more directly preparing the battle field for an imminent ground assault. Israel is already doing this at a ‘strategic’ level with its leadership stakes and key facility hits. Switch to intense strikes targeting rocket launchers and storage is the indicator for imminent ground attacks.

The U.S. has been tracking Russian warships and aircraft that are expected to arrive in the Caribbean for a military exercise in the coming weeks, in a Russian show of force as tensions rise over Western military support for Ukraine, U.S. officials said Wednesday.
The ships also are expected possibly to make port calls in Venezuela and Cuba, as Russia establishes a Western Hemisphere military presence that the senior Biden administration officials said was notable but not concerning. The exercise, which will be monitored by the U.S. military, will involve a “handful” of Russian ships and support vessels, the two officials said.
It’s not the first time Russia has sent its ships to the Caribbean. This exercise, however, is taking place as Russian President Vladimir Putin has suggested that Moscow could take “asymmetrical steps” elsewhere in the world in response to President Joe Biden’s decision to allow Ukraine to use U.S.-provided weapons to strike inside Russia to protect Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city.

Israel continues to tighten the noose around the remaining organized battalions of Hamas in Rafah. It is proceeding to identify concentrations of terrorists trying to reform in other parts of Gaza and liquidating them.
Hamas forces in Rafah are cut off from escape and resupply via Egypt with IDF controlling the cross border tunnels.
Eyes on the build up towards Israeli operations against Hezbollah. biden trying to dampen that action with warnings that Iran might get involved. At this stage, I’m not sure just what iran would be capable of doing. It is still in the midst of political/religious wrangling over a new president and still stinging from the disastrous rocket/drone strike attempt on Israel. Any effort to bring military forces into the region via Syria would see devastating interdiction before they even got to the Israeli border.
Iran still has the capability to close down the Straits of Hormuz but would face severe global pushback and likely devastation of a significant portion of its naval assets in the region.
Not that there's double standards in DC or anything... /s
CW2 / Domestic violence - Heightened THREAT
June 8 - Surround the WH.
***
Yesterday, work crews installed”anti-scaling” riot fencing around the entire perimeter of the White House. This is believed to be in anticipation of the “Surround the White House” protest scheduled for today.
Advocacy and activist groups like CODEPINK and the Council on American Islamic Relations said on Friday that demonstrations were planned on Saturday, marking eight months of Israel’s war in Gaza that has killed tens of thousands while causing a humanitarian crisis with widespread hunger and destruction.
OBSERVATION - There are also other protests scheduled in multiple cites this weekend under the same theme. Potential for local violent actions - stay situationally aware.

George Conway told The Daily Show that after the election “we still have to live with those people [Trump supporters] and we are going to have to deprogram them at some point.”
OBSERVATION - He is the latest Democrat to suggest that “MAGA” supporters be carted off for “reprogramming” (likely inferring to re-education camps). Yesterday I posted sentiments from Paula Collins, who is running unopposed in the June 25 Democratic primary, trying to unseat Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) in New York’s 21st Congressional District echoing the same.
These aren’t the “fringe” of the Democrat party, this is the core of the party today. They join the likes of Hillary Clinton, Katie Couric, and Wapo columnist, Eugene Robinson, among many. They are telling us of their plans openly.
They will not willingly release the power they have gotten their hands on.
Economy-
The U.S. economy added far more jobs than expected in May, countering fears of a slowdown in the labor market and likely reducing the Federal Reserve’s impetus to lower interest rates.
Nonfarm payrolls expanded by 272,000 for the month, up from 165,000 in April and well ahead of the Dow Jones consensus estimate for 190,000, the Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday.
Previous months’ reports saw small revisions: The March gain dropped to 310,000, down 5,000, while April’s saw a cut of 10,000 to 165,000.
On the flip side -
4% unemployment rate - risen yet again for the third consecutive month in a row, hitting four percent across the US. This marks the first time that unemployment reached that point since January 2022 in the second year of Joe Biden’s presidency.
-250,000 in the labor force
-408,000 people employed
Labor Force Participation Rate falls to 62.5%
Per the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), a large portion of the jobs that were added in May consisted of 68,000 added in healthcare, 43,000 added in government jobs, and leisure and hospitality increased by 42,000 jobs. Most other industries did not see as large of a bump and employment “showed little or no change over the month in other major industries, including mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction; construction; manufacturing; wholesale trade; transportation and warehousing; information; financial activities; and other services.”
Of those jobs added to the workforce, only 81,400 were from private production and nonsupervisory employees, translating to that the majority of jobs added to the economy are not blue-collar jobs, or part of the “typical worker” in the US labor force, as defined by the Economic Policy Institute and usually accounts for 80 percent of the labor force. The stat may seem to be in contrast with Biden’s pitch to blue-collar Americans that work is readily available for them in the private sector.
The BLS revealed that around 133.3 million people in the United States had full-time jobs in May, which was 625,000 less than the month before. However, the number of people having part-time jobs surged by 286,000 to just over 28 million.
As a result of the loss of part-time jobs to 161 million, the total number of American workers collapsed by 408,000.
It was also discovered that the number of foreign-born workers employed in the U.S. skyrocketed last month, rising by 637,000 for the year to nearly 32 million, while native-born workers declined by almost 300,000.
Kobeissi Letter writes (from “X”) -
“Something doesn’t add up here:
All of the headlines say that the US economy added 272,000 jobs in May.
However, when you dig deeper into the data you can see that full-time employment actually FELL by -625,000.
Meanwhile, part-time employment rose by 286,000 along with the unemployment rate to 4.0%.
This is the biggest drop in full-time employment since December 2023.
It’s also the first month with 4.0%+ unemployment since February 2022.
How is this a “strong” labor market?”
OBSERVATION - At this stage of the election cycle, these numbers are pretty well cooked up. An increasing unemployment rate versus a “robust” economy, huh? As Kobeissi states - things are not adding up here.
Wuhan and other “new” Plandemics –
The 9th Circuit just stripped mRNA shots of legal liability protection saying it’s not a vaccine if the claim isn’t to prevent the spread of the disease.
COVID shots were claimed to “reduce symptoms” and prevent hospitalization. Those claims make it a treatment. NOTE - This standard was progressively downgraded from prevent to ‘reduce symptoms’ over time by the CDC et al, inclusive with a complete redefinition of what the term “vaccine” meant.
This ruling that the Covid-19 vaccine was not a vaccine, only a medical treatment that employers (and the govt) could not mandate has opened wide the legal challenges to those who mandated it as well as Pfizer and Moderna.

The United States may have to deploy more strategic nuclear weapons in coming years to deter growing threats from Russia, China and other adversaries, a senior White House aide said on Friday: “We need to be fully prepared to execute if the president makes that decision.”
OBSERVATION - This is scary in the sense that the person holding the nuclear football likely messed his depends over the weekend in Normandy.

“Today, the Court became aware of a comment that was posted on the Unified Court System’s public Facebook page and which I now bring to your attention,” Judge Juan Merchan shared in a letter to Trump’s attorneys and prosecutors with Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office.
“In the comment, the user, ‘Michael Anderson,’ states: ‘My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted… Thank you folks for all your hard work!!! ….’” Merchan wrote.
OBSERVATION - If true, the case must automatically be thrown out. Intense speculation since its release, apparently the heads up came from higher courts to Merchan - implying that they did some verification of the message before forwarding. Others are claiming the poster is merely a troll. Others speculating on if this is some ploy by Merchan to dodge accountability for how he ran the trial, etc. Specific note - the jurors were not sequestered and had plenty of opportunity to interact with others outside the court room. That, combined with the overwhelming bias of the jury pool against Trump, there is high probability that this event is real.
Russia -
Recent commentary and statements by putin indicate he is prepared for a long war of attrition against Ukraine. He is betting his country’s larger population and his will against western support of Ukraine, believing that the west lacks the commitment to go the long run.
Ukraine –
WEATHER FORECAST – Temperatures highs in the 80 - 90s and fair.
RUMINT –
Russian elite forces reportedly decimated in fighting on the Kharkiv front.
24 HOUR ROUND UP –
Ukrainian air defense shot down 9 Shahed drones overnight.
Ukrainian drones have attacked airfield in Mozdok, local authorities reported 3 were shot down
Unconfirmed reports that Ukrainian attacks to drive Russian forces out of Hlyboke have started. Hlyboke is, a small village between Kharkiv and Belgorod.
Russian forces continued to press attacks all along the eastern front.
Outlook —
Little open reporting on the status of fighting along the many fronts in Eastern Ukraine. Most of the reporting is coming from monitored Russian milbloggers, RU telegraph channels and Ukrainian equivalents. So there is a lot of incomplete and in some cases incorrect information out there.
What is discernible is that Ukraine is gaining the initiative in the Kharkiv region and that Russia appears to be shifting units from fighting further south to the area to try to secure the gains that it has made.
What is also discernible is that efforts to capture places like Chaziv Yar have stalled out and Russian forces are shifting laterally to try to find another way around these strongholds.
What is also discernible is that Russia is increasingly reliant on unarmored vehicles to conduct their meat attacks, including using essentially ATVs, golf carts and motorcycles to get troops to their jump off points.
Rearmed Ukraine forces are increasingly destroying Russian logistic supports to the front.
How successful either side is at this stage is not clear, but what is clear is that the situation is changing in one way or anther.
Europe / NATO General –
First, a warehouse in east London being used to supply aid to Ukraine burned down. Weeks later, an Ikea in Vilnius, Lithuania, mysteriously caught fire.
Swedish investigators were already looking into the possibility that several railway derailments could have been caused by a state-backed saboteur.
Then an inferno engulfed the largest shopping centre in Warsaw, Poland’s capital. It was Donald Tusk, the Polish prime minister, who began joining the dots to suggest the West was under attack by Russian espionage.
“We are examining the threads – they are quite likely – that the Russian services had something to do with the Marywilska fire,” he said last month.
His claims were further bolstered when a former Russian soldier was arrested north of Paris this week after explosives detonated in his hotel room.
Warnings from European intelligence agencies that Russia is plotting acts of sabotage on the Continent in its escalation of the stand-off with the Nato military alliance have been thrust into the limelight.
An intelligence assessment shared with Western governments claims that Russia’s notorious GRU military intelligence agency, known for its attacks on foreign soil using highly trained agents, is now turning to criminal gangs to carry out attacks in Europe.
OBSERVATION - I’ve noticed suspicious acts in the past months, but unready to put a finger on whether or not this was Russian backed actions. As per the above, there is increasing evidence that Russia likely behind these acts.
ISRAEL –
Key overnight developments -
- IDF and security police rescued 4 hostages from Gaza
——— GENERAL ——————————-
Lest we forget - there are still hostages being held in Gaza.
***
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) successfully reestablished the temporary pier in Gaza, enabling the continued delivery of much-needed humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.
***
Four Israeli hostages kidnapped by Hamas from the Nova music festival during the group’s 7 October attacks have been rescued, Israel’s army has announced.
Those rescued are Noa Argamani, 25, Almog Meir Jan, 21, Andrei Kozlov, 27, and Shlomi Ziv, 40, the Israel Defense Forces said.
They were rescued in a joint “complex” daytime operation, conducted with Israel Security Agency and Israel Police, from two separate locations in Nuseirat, central Gaza, the IDF said.
They are in good medical condition and have been transferred to the ‘Sheba’ Tel-HaShomer Medical Center for further medical examinations, the IDF said.
OBSERVATION - More specifically rescue occurred at the Nuseirat refugee camp. UNRWA silent on this abuse by Hamas. . . .
***
Bibi responded to the disgraceful and shameful decision by the UN to blacklist Israel: “The UN today put itself on the blacklist of history when it joined the supporters of the Hamas murderers. The IDF is the most moral army in the world and no illusory decision by the UN will change that”
——— GAZA FRONT ———————————-
Israeli army identifies 8 more militants killed in strike on UNRWA school in Gaza’s Nuseirat, taking toll of confirmed terror operatives to 17.
IDF reports fierce fighting in central Gaza and Rafah.
———“ISLAMIC RESISTANCE” ———————————
American-British air strikes reported in Sanaa, the capital of Yemen.
——— FORECAST ————————-
The rescue of live hostages is a ray of hope. But notice that Hamas continues to use generally shielded areas - such as a refugee camp - to hold hostages, just like they continue to use schools and hospitals to launch military operations from. One knows darn well those ‘innocent’ Gazans knew full well hostages were being held in their midsts and supported the fact. Of course, the UN is silent on this as well.
Israel’s intelligence system is incredible in that they produce accurate and timely actionable intelligence. The success of the hostage rescue is a credit to that fact. I hope the rescue brought more intel on where other hostages are being held.
IDF has fully secured the Philadelphia corridor to the Med, effectively isolating Hamas from resupply from or escape to Egypt. Many reports of the progress of the fight in Rafah are wrapped in layers of OPSEC, but IDF is progressing thru the town and Hamas is taking heavy casualties by death and surrender.
Houthi have been far quieter than at the start of the Gaza war. This is either due to the reduction in potential targets or the effectiveness of defensive fire and air strikes on its facilities.
Mexico -
Mexico’s new president is very pro LGBT, and the traditional Catholic core of the country is reacting very negatively about that.
CW2 / Domestic violence - Heightened THREAT
June 8 - Surround the WH.
***
The surround the WH event went off with its usual leftist -pro hamas fervor. Reportedly hundreds of thousands of pro-Palestine protesters and activists gathered outside the White House in Washington, DC, completely surrounding it. As Pro-Palestine supporters have tagged a Washington, DC statue with graffiti while throwing items at Park Police, as they held up a bloody mask depicting President Joe Biden while another protester burns an American flag behind him. The statue outside the White House has been sprayed with “FJB” during the pro-Palestine protest
OBSERVATION - I note again the vitriol by these protestors against democrats in charge. Very much anti biden, very little anti trump. Yesterday’s details of the Israeli hostage rescue probably added to the hatred. These ease at which these generally communist leftists shifted sides and cohort with essentially jihadists is interesting. One would think the anger would be funneled towards Trump but it is not.
Lots of vandalism, but very few arrests.
Economy-
“All of the net job growth over the last year has gone to foreign-born workers, (a category which the Labor Dept. admits includes illegal aliens) while native-born Americans have lost a net 300k jobs,” Heritage Foundation economist E.J. Antoni wrote on X.
“No wonder Americans view economy so terribly: they aren’t the ones [with] the jobs; native-born employment is not only millions below pre-pandemic trend, but even below pre-pandemic level, while millions more foreign workers are employed today than Feb ’20, and back to trend,” Antoni wrote.
Ukraine –
WEATHER FORECAST – Temperatures highs in the 80 - 90s and fair.
24 HOUR ROUND UP –
Ukraine pushing attacks at the Kharkiv axis overnight near Lyptsi, Hlyboke and Vovchansk. A Ukraine spokesman states “most of Vovchansk is under control of Ukraine Defense forces”
In general, Russia continues to press attacks across most of the eastern front, with no apparent or significant gains.
A Su-57, Russia’s most advanced fighter jet, was damaged on June 8 at the Akhtubinsk airfield. This airfield is located 589 kilometers away from the contact line. The Su-57 is known for its use of Kh-59 and Kh-69 missiles.
Outlook —
Evidence continues to build that Ukraine has not only blunted but is now in the process of turning back the Russian attack towards Kharkiv.
Reports indicate that Russia is still pressing the fight on the other areas of the front, but are not making any progress. Russia is wasting resources quickly while Ukraine is building up for potential counter offensives.
Ukraine’s really deep game is showing more success at hitting airfields and other targets in Russia.
ISRAEL –
Key overnight developments -
- Hamas et al trying to paint yesterday’s hostage rescue as a massive massacre.
- An Al Jazeria reporter and a doctor were two that were holding hostages in their homes.
——— GENERAL ——————————-
Lest we forget - there are still hostages being held in Gaza.
***
One of the Israeli hostages that was rescued yesterday during the Joint-Operation in Central Gaza, 26-Year-Old Noa Argamani was being held captive in the home of Abdallah Aljamal, a photojournalist and writer/editor for both Al-Jazeera and the Palestinian Chronicle. During the operation, Abdallah and several members of his family were killed while attempting to prevent the rescue of Noa. Additionally, there was a medical doctor living at the same house. He too was killed as he tried to prevent the rescue.
——— GAZA FRONT ———————————-
Fighting continues throughout Gaza.
——— LEBANON / HEZBOLLAH——————————-
Resumption of the Hezbollah attack / Israeli retaliatory attack series overnight.
———INTERNATIONAL ——————————-
Egypt and Jordan, two countries that have peace treaties with Israel, condemned the Israeli rescue of four hostages on Saturday — as did officials from the European Union (EU) and United Nations (UN) — over Palestinian casualties.
——— FORECAST ————————-
The Pro-hamas bots and nut jobs flooded social media since yesterday, trying to drive the narrative that Israel’s rescue of 4 hostages was essentially a massacre of innocent civilians. Some elements, like the EU and UN picked up the hamas narrative, but bottom line is - when civilians willingly in-prison them in their homes and then fight to prevent their rescue, they are fair game.
BTW - Noa’s voice was used in a recent propaganda/psyops release by Hamas.
Expect the systematic elimination of Hamas to continue. I expect that the hostage rescue may generate some immediate shifting of hostage locations which may result in new leads on their new locations. Expect more Hamas resources devoted to guard them. Both can be indicators for IDF in their search.
