Dr. Peter Navarro joined Steve Bannon and The War Room on Saturday morning.
During their discussion on voter fraud, Navarro brought up the actions of Mike Pence. Navarro, along with millions of Trump voters, believe what Mike Pence did will go down in history as one of the greatest betrayals of a president and the country.
Mike Pence did not have the courage to confront the obvious election fraud. He sided with the enemies of America.
Dr. Peter Navarro: Look, what Mike Pence did to Donald J. Trump I think will go down in history as one of the biggest betrayals imaginable. Because clearly, the Vice President had a mission up on Capitol Hill to get to the bottom of all the election fraud and irregularities that I document in the three volumes of the Navarro Report. And he refused to do that. And the fact that the riot happened… the last person on earth that wanted that to happen was Donald J. Trump. Because it allowed the vice president, it allowed the RINO Republicans, and it certainly allowed the Democrats to cancel what was going to be an investigation on January 6th, which was going to be one of the greatest days in the history of the republic because it would have allowed an investigation into this fraud.

Not a popular opinion around these parts, but I tend to agree with you. The fix was in on this stolen election long before January 6. The Dems, the media, the establishment GOP, the FBI, the DOJ, etc. were never going to accept a 2nd Trump term and all manner of cheating to prevent that would be tolerated and/or encourage. The idea that Mike Pence somehow could have single-handedly saved an election that was already stolen before it even started is a convenient fantasy that some here choose to indulge in.
I would have gladly accepted coast to coast rioting to seat the legitimate president. Hell he could have paused it for 10 days like Cruz was suggesting. He chose to be part of the deception. Any rioting couldn’t possibly be worse than what we are going to face over the next 4 years.
That is something. The flies always seem to be attracted to the bad souls. I mean, the Enemy is also known as the Lord of the Flies. He marks them.
It was the VP’s constitutional duty to preside. Pence took an oath to perform the job.
And ceding power to Leahy wouldn’t have resulted in anything different. Except that the challenges might not have been heard under Leahy.
Justice Roberts didn’t preside over the Senate impeachment, but it didn’t stop the impeachment proceedings.
“He was most likely an anti-Trump insider.”
Embedded spy from the git-go.
Yeah but calling that out and putting a stop to it was the courts and ultimately the state legislators and election officials duty. Once the states certified the elections as valid, it wasn't Mike Pence's call or in his power to decertify them. Congress could have. The process was set up for Congress to object and investigate. But Pence didn't cause Congress's failure that I can see.
“I like Mike Pence and believe he would make a great President.”
Yeah. ‘Cause we haven’t had enough weasels in the Oval Office.
Pretending he was an honorable and loyal VP was bad enough. But being complicit in turning the country over to baby murderers really takes the cake.
I was hoping you’d post a suggestion that would have actually accomplished something.
I say impeach Biden. Lets get started.
Anti - Trumper’s?? How about Anti-Bidener’s
“we do not know what sorts of threats he and the USSC justices were exposed to.”
It doesn’t matter. If they were decent and principled people they would have done the right thing. Screw ‘em all.
“If he really wants to assign blame for the 2020 election fiasco he should place it squarely where it belongs: on the state GOP officials and legislators in most of those swing states”
Without those states sending dual electoral slates. We had no way to get the election thrown into the House of Representatives.
We have norms, historical precedent, and tradition in the way we conduct are elections. Pence only had one choice to stay connected with Trump and that was to resign before the vote.
If he opened the “can of worms” on doing non traditional objections. Our elections will be even more of a farce.
Imagine a Republican landslide(35+ states) in 2032 and some Democrat VP, wastes a month sending electoral votes back to a variety of states.
Did Pence ever meet with Trump after his betrayal? if so - what a scene that must have been.
He had a glorious chance to save the Republic. He whiffed.
Pence always presented himself as a Christian man. I guess that was a fraud as well.
The problem is, in these positions you have to challenge the law. The Democrats challenged election law this cycle and because the courts refused to intercede, they completely changed how elections will be conducted in the future. If our side isn’t willing to challenge the law, we don’t stand a chance.
“But Pense had an epic failure when he led the voter fraud commission”
Don’t forget his epic failure by recruiting Fauci for the WuFlu task force, and not kicking Fauci to the curb when it was apparent the goblin was there to sabotage PDJT. UNLESS he recruited Fauci for the sole purpose of sabotaging PDJT. I’m leaning in that direction.
That’s exactly right. Ignore the nitwits on this thread who apparently think the sitting VP has the authority to arbitrarily select the next President regardless of how the electoral votes are cast.
Good lord, who would look at Pence, the guy who threw Christians under the bus in the sake of purporting sexual deviancy as a potential leader for this country? I was disappointed Trump chose him from the beginning.
Again what does that have to do with Pence? The campaign had lawyers challenging the laws to courts and to state legislators. There was opportunity for Congress to challenge the laws, and Pence was willing to hear the objections. The Senate only objected to 2 state and those objections were voted down.
The only thing I know that Pence could have done, is under parliamentary procedures, he could have given up the gavel long enough to speak out to Congress on the election fraud. But since there were already congressmen willing to do that, and since Pence was a member of one of the contesting campaigns, it would have come off as inappropriate.
Mike Pence is an ass, and his entire spiele is a load of crap.
He has been recognized for years, but you clearly are clueless regarding his true nature. Hey, you are entitled to like the silver tongued slick looking back stabbing type as you please.
Nothing about Pence’s actions on the Electoral College Vote counting surprised me. Many others as well knew what was coming which is why indeed Trump essentially mocked him on that day in early January. Trump knew what Pence was going to do.
Ignorance and stupidity are still ignorance and stupidity - no matter how many times you want to repeat them. You don’t have the first clue what you are talking about - at this point your ignorance is willful.
Grow up.
Pence and staff did little but aid and abet the coup against President Trump for 4 years. Then went AWOL during the election steal.
Wake up.
I’m so conservative that it scares the horses and the children. I’ve fought the good fight for decades against not only the Democrats but against the amoral Rockefeller Republican wing of our party and against others who have no real values except their own enrichment. But, in recent times, I think that there are more and more people on this site who aren’t really conservatives. They are just nuts.
I voted for Donald Trump twice. But, if we are going to succeed in the future, we need to rally around eternal, conservative principles, not a blind devotion to one man. We need to put conservative principles before blindly groveling before every word of one man. Trump did some great things. I’m thankful for them. But conservative values are bigger than one man, and we shouldn’t let our personal heroes be bigger than the values that we hoped that they stood for. Trump did some great things, but like all men he had feet of clay. I don’t worship Trump. I worship God. Just because someone doesn’t wait with bated breath for every utterance from Trump doesn’t mean that they are a Deep State liberal.
Many hard right conservatives strongly supported Trump even though they had issues with his character. Many of these will now willingly follow a different leader who shares their conservative values. Trump isn’t the Second Coming. The fight for eternal values will go on and will transcend his time in office. Use wisdom. Fight on, but fight for eternal truths, not just the passing personality of the day.
