Dr. Peter Navarro joined Steve Bannon and The War Room on Saturday morning.
During their discussion on voter fraud, Navarro brought up the actions of Mike Pence. Navarro, along with millions of Trump voters, believe what Mike Pence did will go down in history as one of the greatest betrayals of a president and the country.
Mike Pence did not have the courage to confront the obvious election fraud. He sided with the enemies of America.
Dr. Peter Navarro: Look, what Mike Pence did to Donald J. Trump I think will go down in history as one of the biggest betrayals imaginable. Because clearly, the Vice President had a mission up on Capitol Hill to get to the bottom of all the election fraud and irregularities that I document in the three volumes of the Navarro Report. And he refused to do that. And the fact that the riot happened… the last person on earth that wanted that to happen was Donald J. Trump. Because it allowed the vice president, it allowed the RINO Republicans, and it certainly allowed the Democrats to cancel what was going to be an investigation on January 6th, which was going to be one of the greatest days in the history of the republic because it would have allowed an investigation into this fraud.

I must admit I have never heard any mention of his daughters at all but I believe what you say about them not liking Trump.
I’m going to cut Navarro some slack here. I’m assuming he was just playing to Bannon’s audience. If he really wants to assign blame for the 2020 election fiasco he should place it squarely where it belongs: on the state GOP officials and legislators in most of those swing states.

Blaa blaa blaa. That is what is wrong with this. Our side looks at this mess and says, “it will look bad.” The democrats say, “let’s see them stop us.” Nothing has ever been accomplished by people who say “it can’t be done.”
P.S. — I have said many times here on FR that I’m not a big fan of Mike Pence. A largely ceremonial post as VP was just about the limit of his competence, in my opinion. He was never going to be elected President even if Trump won 400 electoral votes in 2020 and left office as the most popular president in U.S. history in 2024.

I’ve read the constitution. And I’ve read the Federal law. And I far as I can see Pence followed both.
I like Navarro, and it concerns me when Navarro says Pence betrayed Trump. But someone is going to have to tell me exactly what Pence did that was a betrayal. Because counting the votes that were certified by the states after allowing objections, is what Pence was required to do.
No State submitted a double set of electors. The GOP electors who showed up at some state houses as a stunt had no more legitimacy under law than had a bunch of yoohoos from the Green party or Communist party showed up and declared themselves to be a valid slate of electors.
I cannot understand just what it is that makes these people turn against President Trump.

Bush League Republicans have spent 30 years fundamentally transforming the USA into North Mexico and Trump was trying to reverse that.

I think President Trump selected Pence as his VP to demonstrate to Hillary he could beat her with both arms tied behind his back.

So what did Pence know and when did he know it? Did he have some prior information......like Pelosi? Why were his wife and daughters at the capital during the riots? Is it normal to have spectators while certifying the vote?

I’ll tell you. Pence did not have to preside over that count. He could have, and should have stepped aside and let Leahy do it.
But as we now know Pence wanted to screw Trump over. and so he did.
Can you show me in the constitution where unelected bureaucrats are allowed to change election law up to end after the election? Can you show me where ballots are allowed to be evaluated based on whether they come from Democrat or Republican districts? The issue isn’t whether he was doing what the constitution says, to which there is some question. The fact is the Democrats are willing to challenge the law, and Republicans are not. Basically the same thing as the Democrats hand Congress a dog excrement sandwich, and Mike Pence called it roast beef.
