Today’s Campaign Update, Part II (Because The Campaign Never Ends)
The short attention span in today’s U.S. society never ceases to amaze. – No one should be surprised – although many seem to be – about RINO skunk Mitt Romney’s support of the Democrats’ impeachment effort against President Donald Trump. This opportunity is, after all, the very reason why Romney decided to run for that Utah senate seat at the urging of Bill Kristol and the NeverTrump Nitwit Army, which currently consists of about 15 people and Kristol’s pet cat, Mr. Bigglesworth. Perhaps we should call it the NeverTrump Nitwit Squad instead.
But I digress. It is important for everyone to remember how and why Romney was recruited to run for this seat in the first place, and the motives behind it. He joined the race at a point in time when things looked bleak – at least on the surface, which is the only place these shallow people are capable of observing – for President Trump. Remember that early in 2018 the conventional “wisdom” inside the Beltway was that Special Counsel Robert Mueller had Trump dead to rights, and his ultimate report would provide a devastating “roadmap to impeachment” for the Democrats, who were on their way to winning a majority in the House of Representatives.
Romney was recruited during that time by the NeverTrump Nitwit Squad to win a spot in the GOP-dominated U.S. Senate. From that position, Romney could then work behind the scenes to recruit other RINOs in the caucus to ultimately support removing the President from office when the House sends over its Articles of Impeachment. Once Trump had been successfully removed, Romney would then be in a prime position as a sitting senator and former GOP reliable loser presidential nominee, to become the white knight to take up the GOP’s presidential nomination and reliably lose a second time.
Make no mistake about this: The NeverTrumpers do not want a Republican president in office, and if they must be saddled with a Republican POTUS, they simply must have a reliable DC establishment hack like Romney sitting behind the Resolute Desk. These people have always been a bunch of squeamish, haughty losers who prefer to be in the minority.
From that position, they can sit back and cling to their ideological purity, and never have to worry about actually doing what it takes to win on issues. These people are pantywaists at heart and have no stomach for fighting a real political fight on behalf of any segment of the American people.
All of which explains the real reason why they so detest Trump: Because he fights. He fights with every means he has at his disposal on behalf of the American people. Even worse in the eyes of the Kristols of the world, in the process of fighting, Trump exposes the DC political hacks and nest featherers. That strikes far too close to home for the NeverTrump Nitwit Squad and makes Mr. Bigglesworth nervous.
They are right now absolutely enraged at Trump for exposing Joe Biden and his ne’er-do-well son Hunter’s efforts to feather their own nests while Biden served as VEEP. Why? Because these NeverTrumpers all aspire to become parties to such schemes, not to expose them. That’s the DC Insider way of life, after all.
So, what we are seeing play out right now before our very eyes is in fact the NeverTrump plan, the very reason why Mitt Romney was recruited to run for the Senate in the first place. This plan has been blatantly transparent since the day of its conception.
Anyone who is surprised in any way by Romney’s mendacity just hasn’t been paying attention.

Trump outperformed Mitt by 2 million votes. Trump flipped many counties red while Mitt performed better in Utah and a few college towns.
Trump stands for the US and the Constitution and delivers on his promises.
Mitt stands for nothing but himself and is a flip-flopper.

Reset to 2012. I would punch the ballot for Obama. He played a lot of golf, we survived him, and got a real president afterwards. If Mitt had accidentally won, our backs would have been full of knife wounds and Hillary World would be upon us.
I won’t just stay home if somehow Mitt is the nominee, I will vote for the Democrat, even if it’s Bernie.

Romney must be braver than I though. President Trump kicked his ass the last time Romney ran in 2016 and, if Romney attempts to second run, Trump is going to humiliate him.
If someone would please do a poll to see his popularity in a the US it would be from left to right the worst numbers of any politician.
He’s got as much chance as William “pudding face” Weld or Joe “the welcher” Walsh.
