When Pope Francis met with Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb on Monday, he told him that our meeting is the message. So precisely what kind of message was Pope Francis attempting to convey? Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb is the Grand Imam of Cairos Al-Azhar Mosque, and some have described him as the highest figure in Sunni Islam. The Daily Mail said that the meeting between these two men was a historic bid to reopen dialogue between the two churches, and as you will see below this is yet another in a long series of attempts by Pope Francis to build bridges between Catholicism and various other faiths. In the end, what are we to make of all of this? Could it be possible that Pope Francis is laying the groundwork for the super world church and the coming one world religion that David Wilkerson and so many others have warned about?
Pope Francis made sure that when he embraced Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb there would be plenty of reporters there to document the moment. The following is an excerpt from a Daily Mail article entitled Pope embraces grand imam at historic Vatican meeting in a bid to bring the Catholic and Muslim churches together

The Pope is and has always been a Man and a core Principle of Conservatism correctly asserts, that Man is not a perfectible creature.
The Papacy, despite warts, has done two things that redeem it.
* It preserved the Heritage of Greece and Rome after 475 AD, in its great universities across Europe and
* It saved Europe several times from the onslaught of fanatical Islam.
As such, this ignorant rant is too stupid for words.
But always remember. . . .http://www.thereishopeinjesus.com/
This pope sucks.
Let’s hope the Swiss Guard was on their toes.
Did he make out with the Koran?
‘Didn’t Hitler meet with one of his predecessors? ‘
Pious XII
Of course Pius XII was playing it coy with Hitler, while he was running an Underground Railroad right under Hitler’s nose. And who knows what support to resistance groups.
Mossad has extensively investigate each of the allegations against Pius XII, and found them to be bogus.
Pius XII was living dangerously and defying tyranny, much like when John Paul II was in Poland defying both the Nazis and the Communists.
...a bid to bring the Catholic and Muslim churches together

Muslim church? I don’t think so.
Disseminating leftist lies is not a worthy pursuit.
+1
This Pope allowed Islamic prayers and Koran readings in the Vatican before. I cannot find out if he played the Muslim call to prayer.
The last 3 popes have kissed the Koran. In my opinion no follower of Jesus would ever kiss a relic of a false god.
The last three popes have done this.
The “Abomination of Desolation?” (matt24:15)
Where is there a record of Benedict XVIth kissing the Koran?
Yes...the deceitful one allowed prayers a few years back.
He’s garnered quite a following because of it too.
Vatican makes history: Pope allows Islamic prayers, Koran readings

You are right. I sincerely apologize. I thought I remembered one, but I came up with the spoof photo of him kissing an Imam. From what I can tell Pope Benedict rhetoric regarding Islam was consistent of what I expect a Christian leader to be.
It is coming.
Do you know if he played the Islam call to prayer off of Vatican speakers?
I was wrong about Pope Benedict, there is no evidence that he ever kissed the Koran. His rhetoric regarding appropriate Christian view of Islam was solid from what I can tell.
I’ve yet to find anything on the Islamic call to prayer.
There’s plenty of pictures out there of John Paul II and Frankie kissing the Koran.
I have seen those. I am not Catholic, but I think the Pope is a powerful and influential person on the world stage. he can do a lot of good and a lot of bad. Having the World’s most recognized Christian kissing a Koran does nothing to encourage Muslims to come to Christ; in my opinion. In fact, I think it does the opposite.
