Mitt Romney revealed as GOP pick by RNC 'DeepThroat'
The News Hub ^ | April 3, 2016 | Bill Singletary

A Watergate-type 'Deep Throat' has come forward to claim that despite all the talk of a contested Republican Convention, the GOP nominee will be former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, a deal, said the shadowy source who has direct knowledge of the situation, was sealed months ago by the Republican National Committee (RNC).

"All this hoopla about Trump splitting the Party if he doesn't get the nomination – even if he gets only a majority of the needed delegates – is hogwash," insisted the well-placed source who claims direct knowledge of talks held between Romney and GOP executives.
.
.
.
"Romney is in this race up to his pearly whites," says David Leone, a Dallas-based political analyst. "His plan was to sit out the drudgery and tumult of the primary season and wait until the early delegate dust settled. Then he’d come out swinging, first as a GOP lackey who was worried about the direction of the Party, and finally as the man in the White Hat to save the Party from itself at the Convention."

Deep Throat 2016 confirmed Leone’s scenario.

"The fix is in. Even if the Trump acolytes don't like the script and threaten to walk, the RNC knows the 'new' Republicans brought in by Trump aren't really Republicans in ideology," said DT '16. "Mitt is all that matters at this point."

I wonder if Romney kept the million dollars worth of fireworks he bought for his election party? He can give them to Trump.

Honestly I don’t think that has even a kernel of truth. Raise your hand if you have vote for Romney the one and only time.

And as with Mitt, so with Biden/Warren.

When Joe and Elizabeth walk out on that stage in Philadelphia to rapturous applause, they will both have been untouched by the reality show called Race for the Nomination™, brought to you by CNN, Fox News, ABCNBCCBS and the donors.

The process, now lasting up to eighteen months, is broken and will be discarded by both parties before 2020. President Biden will put VP Warren in charge of a reform agenda, and you will never again see “debates” designed to shrink Presidential-sized leaders down into mini-figures small enough to fit inside of the idiot box.

Not in my state. Write-ins are prohibited.

Romney had one shining moment in 2012, the first debate with Obama, where he badly exposed the mentally slower Obama.

Other than that, Romney was a bust. He didn’t inspire maximum turnout, his VP pick did nothing for the ticket, and he was the worst possible candidate to challenge Obama for the overreach of Obamacare.

Romney looks the part, and can sometimes sound the part. But he ain’t it.

One can only conclude from this that the establishment

I held my nose and voted for Romney TWICE!!!

NOT AGAIN. I’ll vote for Sanders before I’ll vote for any of these GOP traitors.

Mittens doesn't care one bit if everybody votes for Hillary.  The threat of not voting the GOP ticket doesn't bother him -- he backed off attacking Obama after all.

However, the threat of losing almost every possible Republican seat in the House and Senate would certainly have an impact and kill the GOP.

In the bigger picture, I don't think Mittens and the rest of them have the courage to deny Trump the nomination if he has majority -- or a very near majority.

The threat of being shamed, riots, and violence would be too much.  Remember, these guys can't even stand up to Obama, never mind angry citizens in the streets, bikers, veterans.  There would be sheer hell to pay to deny the voters their candidate.

So what Roger Stone is doing -- ramping up the protest over the Stop-Trump movement -- is the right course.  We need to make it crystal clear that the people will not have Trump derailed or have the tyranny of the elite prevail.

I’m not staying home either. I’m voting Trump if I have to write it in. I have been voting for 42 years and never stayed home for vote season yet. I voted for McCain & Romney and never again will I kick the football like Charlie Brown.
