Pamela Geller endorsed Ted Cruz for President Sunday, but hardly anyone noticed. The activist and outspoken critic of Islamic extremists made the endorsement in a Sunday blog post titled "Ted Cruz on Jihad in Texas: Thankfully one police officer helped them meet their virgins. Though that headline doesn't offer a clue about her decision to back the Senator from Texas in the 2016 election, she didn't bury the political lede. Here are her first two paragraphs: I endorse Cruz for 2016. The media is going to try to use this against him. But they have been thoroughly discredited in the past week. They are aligned with our enemies. Get behind Cruz. I know its early but the truth is, its late in the fight. I have been considering this for some time and will write a more comprehensive post when time permits, but Cruz is the best candidate in the field. Bar none.
The remainder of her post is focused on the ISIS-inspired attack last week by two terrorists on the "Draw Muhammad" contest Geller and Jihad Watch director Robert Spencer organized in Garland, Texas and Sen. Cruz's strong reaction to it. But Geller is likely correct in her assessment of how the media will treat her endorsement of Ted Cruz. She has been roundly criticized by news outlets as a provocateur. Instead of reporting the ominous development that ISIS has exported its brutal brand of violence to America, many reporters and commentators have instead pursued a "she asked for it" angle, either implied or explicit.
Liberal Fox News analyst Juan Williams spoke for much of what Rush Limbaugh calls the "drive-by" media when he likened Geller to a "pyromaniac" in an appearance on his networks "Hannity" program. But that was nothing compared to what another one of Fox News' resident liberals said about her. Vile leftist Geraldo Rivera smeared Geller on "Fox & Friends" Friday, as he spat out that the free speech activist reminded him of "the Aryan Nation, skinheads, KKK, racists." Much of the rest of the media's reaction has been similarly negative. A notable -- and rather surprising -- exception is left-leaning Newsweek, which took the trouble to actually let Geller speak for herself in this interview and gave her equal bandwidth in a related backgrounder.
Geller will remain controversial because the leftist media says she is. And don't expect many beyond her blog's readership to notice that she's backing Senator Ted Cruz of Texas for president in 2016. But it comes as no surprise to the Lone Star Conservative that "the woman ISIS wants dead" has endorsed Ted Cruz in his run for the White House. People who have no fear are invariably drawn to one another. The left, which aligns itself more with radical Islam than with freedom-loving Americans, will never acknowledge Pamela's courage. It will instead insist that it is recklessness. But even most who strongly disagree with Pamela Geller and Ted Cruz know deep down inside that both have the hearts of warriors. Where these two are concerned, "courageous conservatives" is more than just campaign rhetoric.

He’s the only true candidate I have seen so far. I’m with Pamela Geller.
You go girl! Pam is batting a thousand.
Ted Cruz has had my vote since the first time I heard him talk on TV..I cant wait to vote for him in 2016 and he will make a great President!!!
Cruz / Geller 2016!
I want Pamela Geller for President!
Maybe she won’t cave on amnesty and immigration like Cruz.
Walker/Cruz
The ultimate test if the USA actually loves freedom.
Cruz / Geller 2016!
I would gladly vote for that ticket.
She has a zero percent likelihood of winning.
I think you got that backwards. It’s Cruz/Walker.
I stand with Pam!
Works for me.
When did Cruz cave on immigration?? I haven’t seen a change in his policy reported anywhere. Did I miss it?
Pam Geller and us (my family) agree...Ted Cruz.
Yes, that is my thought process at the moment, it is subject to change ;-).
However, having VP Cruz preside over the Senate with the likes of Juan McCain their would be a delicious Schadenfreude moment IMHO, they revile him and now he presides over them brilliant!. I see Ted as a trusted adviser in all things Constitutional and Legal and being the "Consigilere" if you will to keep things running smooth.
FWIW, Walker's stump speeches are better at the moment IMHO...
He supports a “pathway”, which IMO caves in and doesn’t address the problem.
This will drive the media nuts including many FNC talking heads and pundits, they will not realize they are far from the American people until it is over and Cruz is POTUS, even then they will be ever so confused.
Has Cruz accepted her endorsement? That’s the question.
Good question. I would guess that he will/would handle with some simple gracious response such as ‘ I accept the participation of all who would make the US the nation intended by the Founders. I am not driven by any other notion’.
Pam and Ted
