Ya know, they had like, 65 officers on this case from day 1. If you think they didn't check the SO's in the area, you need to adjust your tinfoil. Your right, only DW had physical evidence of the victim on his property.

You think Ted Bundy "started" with kidnap and murder? It's called escalation. Did Avila kidnap and murder his first victims. No he MOLESTED them and they are alive to tell about it today. That jury didn't believe them either, because they waited too long to tell.

The sad thing is that if DW hadn't been given a pass on this incident, he would have a record, and there would be no arguement, was he/wasn't he a pedophile/molester.

Here is another thing that bothers me, Val.

I was reading the article in the SD website.

Damon is testifying about how much they miss Danielle., blah,blah,blah.

How come he wasn't concerned from 10:30pm Friday until 930am Saturday? With doors open that shouldn't be and alarms on? How come he wasn't concerned enough (with the possibility Danielle might still be alive and could be found) to tell police the truth? How come in subsequent interviews he lied, in PH , he lied, in TRIAL, he lied. SOMEONE LIED. They all (DenisE,Brenda,Damon,Barb) had different stories.

How come he never seemed to do anything but smile, laugh in court? Didn't seem to take things serious. Told the JURY that he decided what was important, and when.

This stuff about Damon bothers me to the root of my being.

NOW Brenda is going PUBLIC about having a FOUNDATION in Danielle's name started. I believe that this was not made public, until they were sure DW got a guilty verdict. I believe the reason for that is because they were worried that if DW got off, that investigations might continue, information about them might be made public, and people would see their involvement/responsbility for Danielle's disappearance, and for the fakes they really are.

You know, that was the same question that came to me. When the ME's stated her vaginal area was missing, and her foot, my question was did they find evidence of KNIFE CUT or animal teeth marks, or tearing? To my knowledge the ME never stated how the foot, organs were removed. That to me, was puzzling. If they disclosed the foot was "CUTOFF", then it would throw the wrong slant on this case, and they couldn't have that.

The problem with that idea though, is why didn't Feldman ask the ME about this. I don't know the answer. Everyone was so willing to ASSUME things in this case.

Like Dusek... SHE IS DEAD - therefore you may assume he killed her.

BUT, you didn't answer my question. in those dead cows, did you ever find that animals ate the foot?

Yep, they interviewed the VD's , their friends, the neighbors, and interviewed all 70 molestors in the neighborhood, and searched every one of their houses all in 48 hours.

Sorry, I do not believe they could have done a very thorough search in that time.

Why didn't they investigate the UNKNOWN PRINTS, the UNKNOWN DNA on Danielle's bean bag chair, and compare it to the database of all known offenders?

Why were the investigators ORDERED not to use a 35mm camera on the jacket and carpet stain (as they are TRAINED TO DO) and told just to use a junky old Polaroid camera?

I don't know how to comfort you. You've been in denial about this case for a long time. You are blinded and mistaken in your perceptions of the testimony and the public demeanor of the parents.

As to parental carelessness, well hindsight is 20/20. The world is full of crime victims who regret their false sense of security. Dulled senses and judgement due to partying is plausable. How come you never give the benefit of the reasonable doubt to the parents, just save it all for the man who has child porn on his computers and has a neice who complained to her mother about him "bothering" her.

How do you know it was a junky old polaroid. Not all polaroids are created equal. They make very high end ones for use in professional/commercial applications. These can often be found in crime labs. They are nothing like consumer polaroids in optic and film quality.

I don't remember a missing foot on a cow. Coyotes fight over dead things. Remember we are talking about small (I am not familiar with the wildlife there) predators wanting the tender parts first (entrails). On a cow or horse there is a hoof. Hooves & deer horns get gnawed up by rats. Birds will peck out the eyes. I guess you would have to see the forensic reports to get the details.

I have watched the PH trial. I have read the transcripts. I read the news articles. I watched the TRIAL.

I can tell when someone is lying. Body language is very telling. Voice pitch changes are also.

Let me ask you this. Are you in denial about the Friends at the Van Dam's? THey all told different stories. Someone or several are lying.

In court, Prosecution witnesses stated UNDER OATH, that police didn't copy their statements down correctly.

Police admitted they lied to obtain the warrant to search DW's.

I see a situation where evidence tracking proves that Danielle had been in the MH at one time, but not when.

I see evidence that proves she had not been in the MH for approx. one year, that DW had never been in the VD home.

I see child murderers and rapists running rampant in SD. Samantha Runnion. I suppose DW did that while he was in jail. I see arrests at the same time that DANIELLE's body most likely was placed at Dehesa Rd, for an INTERNATIONAL PORN RING, with members being part of the SDPD. How many people, on losing their child, are more worried about their bust size? Why was Brenda so willing to go on TV and help Jahi Turner's mother, when it first started, then when the stepfather failed the LIE DETECTOR test, BRENDA did an about face?

I have not discounted any valid evidence.

Listen, Val, it could be that the VD's were careless, and because of that someone snatched their daughter. It could be that they are sincere and would do anything to NOT have lost her, or get her back. The fact that this is not what they have said or done, is why I feel the way I do.

I gave the Vd's the benefit of reasonable doubt at the start, and they totally blew it. Over and over again.

Maybe they are just irresponsible non-monagomous druggies and lied/covered up to try and hide that. Maybe DW is a magician and he got Danielle, without his trace in her house or room, and without her trace in his SUV or MH. Maybe he sexually assaulted her and killed her without leaving traces of that. Maybe he bleached the MH and got rid of the evidence , except for 1 print, 1 hair, 1 spot, and 1 spot on the jacket. Maybe he drove all over southern california with her alive in the back of his MH and went to public places, and no one noticed her, neither did he worry that someone might enter the MH and find her.

What I see is a guy who thinks his distant perceptions over a t.v. camera, is somehow more acute and accurate than that of 12 jurors who where sitting in the same room.

And sorry its like investigative 101, that multiple witnesses to the same events will tell different versions that will converge and diverge in curious ways. And these where drunk/stoned witnesses on top of that. I am amazed that they could testify to anything.

All the things that you have built you suspicions on are your (biased) personal perceptions and the shifting sands and vagaries of the unknowable.

The JURY found him GUILTY. I do not dispute that.

Whether he did it or not is what concerns me.

That if he was railroaded, then JUSTICE has been perverted to save a re-election bid, to hide corruption in the police department. And that contributes to the demise of our country, and a loss of our freedoms. That is the conservative issue I find on this case, and other posters that wish to remain ignorant and follow the 'party line' as given to them by the media are welcome to it.

I choose to think for myself, and if I believe that a JURY of 12 made a mistake, then that is what I believe. I will fight to find out if they did or not, if what came out of the case was true or not.

I may end up wrong about my thoughts on DW not being the perp, but at least I will eventually find the truth.
