I've updated my blog to include the e-mail from Janice Okubo confirming that they assign birth certificate numbers in the state registrar's office and the day they do that is the "Date filed by state registrar".
The pertinent portion from Okubo's e-mail:
In regards to the terms “date accepted” and “date filed” on a Hawaii birth certificate, the department has no records that define these terms. Historically, the terms “Date accepted by the State Registrar” and “Date filed by the State Registrar” referred to the date a record was received in a Department of Health office (on the island of O’ahu or on the neighbor islands of Kaua’i, Hawai’i, Maui, Moloka’i, or Lana’i), and the date a file number was placed on a record (only done in the main office located on the island of O’ahu) respectively.
MY SUMMARY: As you can see, Okubo said that the “Date filed by the State Registrar” is the date a file number was placed on a record (only done in the main office).
There are no pre-numbered certificates. A certificate given a certificate number on Aug 8th (Obama’s Factcheck COLB) would not be given a later number than a certificate given a number on Aug 11th (the Nordyke certificates).
There is no way that both the date filed and the certificate number can be correct on the Factcheck COLB. The COLB is thus proven to be a forgery.

She clarified that she wasn’t sure if West said that he was the actual OB/GYN or whether he knew about it in some other capacity, maybe medical mgt.
BUT, she still affirms the conversation, the fact West old her about the birth, which one would find unlikely if Baby O was in Mombasa, and she says its common knowledge on the island he was born there.

Yes, it will take a lot of guts. I don’t envy anybody who takes it on. Regardless of what anybody thinks about Orly’s effectiveness, I think people on the sidelines have no clue the amount of courage it takes to do what she does.
And I think of people like Linden Joesting at the OIP. That is an incredibly brave woman who I believe is currently being gagged and handcuffed.
It would have taken Janice Okubo huge amounts of courage to buck Obama. At one point I suggested to her that she look for a witness protection program so she could give honest answers. People who want to just do their jobs and live peacefully should not be able to be intimidated and/or threatened into breaking laws to cover for the mafia.
I remember reading about a cop in Brooklyn(?) who reported that crimes were being wrongly labeled in order to make their area seem to be successful in bringing the crime rate down. He was forced to be in a mental hospital for psychiatric evaluation. The doctor concluded that he’s mentally healthy but has the naive belief that law enforcement should be honest.
I found out yesterday that acting OIP Director Cathy Takase testified regarding the “vexatious requestor” bill in Hawaii. She said there was a need for the bill because there are “mentally ill” people who can’t recognize when they’ve been given an answer already.
She’s calling me mentally ill. These people know my name and address; it’s required for requesting a non-certified copy of an abbreviated birth certificate according to their rules. It may not be her duty to report known forgery (she said she’d have to think about it if that ever came up - but it most certainly hadn’t come up just because I gave her the evidence of Factcheck forgery), but I have no doubts that my name is on a list somewhere. I suspect the first step they would try would be to get my kids taken away because I am “mentally ill”.
Calling people mentally ill in order to dispose of them politically has a long and glorious tradition in gulag countries.
And these are the people who are supposed to have all our medical records at their fingertips.

Just for his sake, what percentage of certainty would you say you have regarding 1) your memory being accurate; and 2) that it was Barack Obama you spoke to?
The Takase comments are disturbing, but it’s exactly what I was talking about with the labeling. It’s meant to demonize and intimidate (and oh how similar it is to a few tactics employed here by faithers). Barry’s Gibbs has done the same thing in White House Press Conferences. Belittlement is their way of trying to control the public dialogue and agenda.

That’s the point. Credibility is nice, and I like it. It’s really cool if your opponent in court doesn’t have any. BUT IT IS NOT POSITIVE EVIDENCE. Do you think anyone can go to court, wave around the COLB,and say “Obama’s a liar!”, and the judge is going to slam his gavel down and say “You win! And I’m going to nominate you for Lawyer of the Year!”
This is childish. It is childish thinking. It is a childish view of the law.
What you, bp2, and the rest of the birthers need to realize—is that regardless of Obama’s credibility, YOU BIRTHERS HAVE ZERO CREDIBILITY.
It is why you get bounced from court. It is why people like Ann Coulter and Glen Beck, neither of whom are exactly masters of impulse control, think Birthers are quacks, and cranks, and the “fringe”. It is why so many other freepers give you hell.
I do not say that to hurt your feelings. I’ve given you suggestions how you might go about trying to develop credibility—by developing a credible case with logical presentation of any evidence you think you have.
Frankly, I haven’t seen any remotely credible evidence of anything, but that’s why I ain’t a birther. I think if you start to lay your “evidence” out, you, or some of you, will realize that you ain’t got a case and will then go on to become productive freepers again.

The one thing that rings so true with your story is the scarcity of Africans in Hawaii (note: not African-Americans). When Barak Sr. enrolled at the university, he was hailed as the first African student. He was treated as someone unique and special, obviously because he was. And his status as a local hero for being the first African student helps explain why his race would logically be listed as African on the COLB.
If someone else came along later and talked about being born in Africa, it would also stick out like a sore thumb, especially when it’s a specific area that you knew.

If 2 official UIPA request responses from the HDOH - each of which confirms that what is on the Factcheck COLB cannot be true - is not “remotely credible evidence of anything”, then there is nothing more I can do for you, parsy.
As more people become aware of the facts, this issue is rising in credibility. And Obama’s credibility and favorability rating is plummeting.

I’ve already told you that I don’t have the hard evidence to prove my claims. I’m not aiming to win - or even file - a lawsuit. We’ve already got people doing that and they can’t even get an ear because none of this is supposed to matter to any of us.
What I have is evidence that there has been a cover-up and that Obama’s records are not what we have been led to believe. I am not the person who should be gathering this evidence. I am not the person who has the authority to see the hard proof. I do not want to undermine the authority and protocols of our nation. I just want the people who are supposed to be doing their job, to DO THEIR JOB so that people like me can go back to living our lives peacefully, raising our kids, and trusting that the people who are supposed to protect us aren’t trying to screw us instead.
There is no reason to put into lawyer language when my whole point is to ask somebody with statutory authority to simply investigate. If we have to have all the proof of everything and put it all in air-tight legal form before we can even ask law enforcement to investigate, then what’s the use of even having law enforcement people? So they can approve which already-proven crimes are OK to be prosecuted?
Drop the shtick. You don’t fool anybody. All you want to do is try to ruffle feathers by acting out.

Do me a favor on the Wong case. Do not post anything else to me again until you have read the case. Period. I do not want to take you to raise and spoon feed you every two seconds because you are too lazy to read the friggin’ case.
I am more than willing to help anyone who has questions, but I have posted the relevant parts of the case over and over and over, and every time one of you guys mis-reads some part of the case or the post, or misunderstands what I have said to you, here you come with a “Gotcha” that ain’t really a gotcha.
Read the thing first, understand it, and if AFTER YOU DO THAT, you have a valid question, please let me know. This isn’t kindergarten, and I don’t have time to keep wiping your noses for you.

Parsy demands that I read the case, ignoring that I posted specific citations from the same case supporting my arugment, while simultaneously destroying his citations that he didn’t bother to read or comprehend himself. Its not your “proof” per se that you are putting in order, although as you put it in order, your evidence will work itself in.
What you are putting in order is your claim. Where someone can understand it without having to sit there and try to unravel it. YOU UNRAVEL IT FIRST.
Look again at the thing where I put edge19’s sexual harassment suit. If you can’t put your stuff into a format like that, then you need to retire from the birther movement. Nobody in “statutory authority” is going to sit there and unravel your stuff for you. That is probably why they are calling you names at HDOH and other places and why the guy at obamaconspiracy whatever got mad at you.
You are presenting a wad of undifferentiated stuff to people, expecting them to get excited about it, and then getting mad at them when they don’t and frankly, it is your fault. I can’t really make heads or tails of your stuff and what little I have deciphered looks like nothing but a dust up with the HDOH, which kind of stuff happens all the time.
So, IMHO, if you are neither willing nor able to present your material where it is understandable, do something else for fun, because all you are going to do is frustrate yourself and others.
