Yes, it will take a lot of guts. I don’t envy anybody who takes it on. Regardless of what anybody thinks about Orly’s effectiveness, I think people on the sidelines have no clue the amount of courage it takes to do what she does.
And I think of people like Linden Joesting at the OIP. That is an incredibly brave woman who I believe is currently being gagged and handcuffed.
It would have taken Janice Okubo huge amounts of courage to buck Obama. At one point I suggested to her that she look for a witness protection program so she could give honest answers. People who want to just do their jobs and live peacefully should not be able to be intimidated and/or threatened into breaking laws to cover for the mafia.
I remember reading about a cop in Brooklyn(?) who reported that crimes were being wrongly labeled in order to make their area seem to be successful in bringing the crime rate down. He was forced to be in a mental hospital for psychiatric evaluation. The doctor concluded that he’s mentally healthy but has the naive belief that law enforcement should be honest.
I found out yesterday that acting OIP Director Cathy Takase testified regarding the “vexatious requestor” bill in Hawaii. She said there was a need for the bill because there are “mentally ill” people who can’t recognize when they’ve been given an answer already.
She’s calling me mentally ill. These people know my name and address; it’s required for requesting a non-certified copy of an abbreviated birth certificate according to their rules. It may not be her duty to report known forgery (she said she’d have to think about it if that ever came up - but it most certainly hadn’t come up just because I gave her the evidence of Factcheck forgery), but I have no doubts that my name is on a list somewhere. I suspect the first step they would try would be to get my kids taken away because I am “mentally ill”.
Calling people mentally ill in order to dispose of them politically has a long and glorious tradition in gulag countries.
And these are the people who are supposed to have all our medical records at their fingertips.

The Takase comments are disturbing, but it’s exactly what I was talking about with the labeling. It’s meant to demonize and intimidate (and oh how similar it is to a few tactics employed here by faithers). Barry’s Gibbs has done the same thing in White House Press Conferences. Belittlement is their way of trying to control the public dialogue and agenda.
Persevere. These people are starting to crack.
