Didn’t make myself clear. By documents I meant Kenyan offical forms. Birth records, military records, postal records. If we can find three unrelated official documents that use the term Republic of Kenya from this time, that will go to debunking one question about this BC.

There are Book number and Page number cross references to the Birth Register of the province. If they check out, the document is valid or someone on the the inside of the Kenyan government was in on perpetrating the fraud (which seems rather unlikely to me).

"Bizarre" doesn't begin to capture the sense of the site you linked. There's enough weird material floating around Obama's origins and family background to make JFK assassination conspiracy allegations and Area 51 rumors look dull by comparison.

The more insistently Obama refuses to release the documents, the more it looks like he has something profoundly embarrassing or unsettling to hide.

When you zoom the document fully, every single text character is surrounded by a halo of pixellation. I notice that as well, however, I think it may be an artifact of the JPEG compression. I use to work with images alot, and depending on the amount of compression, you could see this artifacting being introduced onto documents that were compressed from a RAW image, or higher quality Jpeg.

If you folks are working with the copy I posted on this thread, you will find artifacting as it is a capture from the imbedded graphic file in the scripted original Flash viewer into a PNG file at screen resolution and then, when placed on my hosting site, it was automatically converted for size and web use to JPEG with a 70% compression ratio. It was posted for quick viewing on FR and not for the intention of any forensic scrutiny. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY CONCLUSIONS FROM THIS IMAGE DATA!

We need to get a copy of the Raw image, without compression or file type conversion of any kind, if we can't get a hold of the original, before we attempt any pixe level examination.

I saw and thought the same thing. I don't recall that being there at 4am today. Someone just changed the title in an attempt to kill this story, we should correct this if possible.

Does anyone question the absolutely perfect english/grammar of the document? Does the Kenyan language of 1964 parallel our language THAT exact?

A friend's wife is from Kenya (Kikuyu). The quality of her English grammar is better than that of most Americans these days. I'd be more surprised if it weren't perfect.

By the way, as another data point, Obama's school registration from Fransiskus Assisi school in Jakarta (here), likely filled out with information provided by Lolo Soetoro, says he was born in Honolulu (see line 2). While it's possible Obama's mother lied to her second husband, I think we need to be very careful that people here aren't making the same mistake Dan Rather made, trusting a document because it say what they want it to say.

That’s an interesting point. Should this document turn out to be real, it wouldn’t preclude someone else being Obama’s father. Simply because of the fact she was already pregnant when they were “married.” So anything they did, in whatever country, still couldn’t change the real parentage.
