I think that’s the case. She has a document (or a digital copy of one) and just wants to verify it with the correct g’ment offices.
I think before the court will authorize discovery on this issue he’ll let the defendants attorneys file a response with the court. And they’ll have to respond in case its a real BC.
It’ll be interesting to see what Yomama’s attorneys say in rebutting her request.
Then the judge will probably turn her down anyway because she doesn’t have an original paper copy.

Well we have two certificates - one looks like a forgery (Hawaiian) and one looks real (Kenyan) and has signatures on it that can be tracked. I certainly don't know but the Kenyan certainly looks more legit than the Hawaiian one.
In the 63 Constitution, they apparently called themselves “Kenya.”
So since Obama was born with dual citizenship (U.S., Kenya) wouldn't his birth have to be recorded in Kenya anyway for purposes of establishing his Kenyan citizenship?
If so, then what's presented here doesn't mean anything as best I can tell. Interestingly the location of the birth is Coast General Hospital in Membasa on August 4th, 1961. That may be a "generic" tag if he was born outside of Kenya.
(Again, speculating..I really do not know and I'm only peripherally following what's happening here.....)

I know of a situation where a boy was adopted by another. The boy’s original name was stricken from the boys birthcertificate and replaced with the adopted fathers name. Just recently he ordered his certificate and his real fathers name is nowhere to be found. Just the other day he was telling me that he wants his real fathers name put back on his BC, said to do that means filling out all kinds of paperwork.
Could this be the same in Obuma’s case? His name is actually Barak Soetero because he was legally adopted. For him to change his name back legally to Obuma seems that would have left a big paper trail...

I have said all along..well, at least recently...that there was a reason for Ann to go to Kenya.
Let’s assume for a minute that the Birth Certificate is real.
It says married.
We know that you couldn’t mix customary and statutory marriage in Kenya. They wouldn’t recognize the Hawaiian marriage.
SO, did Ann have a customary marriage?
This relates back to the proper immigration law to use.
This could be used in an argument that they did have a customary marriage - even if you can’t find any other proof...unless you are willing to admit they lied on the Kenyan birth certificate. This would especially be true if there was never a marriage in Hawaii to start with in this whole bizarre drama.
So, we would be back to Obama not being a US citizen under the law used for a legitimate baby. ( at least I think...I haven’t looked at the law in awhile because it was not applicable)

Anything other than knocking him out as a US Citizen will subject this whole mess to people who have to interpret the Constitution and whether it is a living , breathing, document ..yada yada yada

I realize wikipedia isn’t always reliable, but they list Daddy Obama’s secondary school as Maseno, which is in the Kisumu district (near the home village.)
