One can see my posting history and see I was 100% Cruz.

When Trump announced, I gave him a listen, and more and more listen, and I begin to see the but if trump merits of having him as the representative of this country to the world, while Cruz just did not light my fire.

I do wish Cruz well, and would vote for him in a heartbeat if he takes the nomination, will gladly pay up on my bet, as it would be worth it win or lose.

However, as long as trump is in it, I will support his attempt.

The RNC NEEDS this, to cut them down to size, and help the PTB realize that they cannot simply shove crap our way and tell us to like it, like they have been doing for 30 years.

I believe that may be one of Cruz' problems, he is seen as an insider, a member of the republican party.

I realize this is speculation on my part, but it is what it is.

I sense more verve from Trump as well. I saw him on TV a few weeks ago and he was like 200% hope. It is crystal clear that he is optimistic on a vision for America, and often optimism is 75% of the game.

IN THAT RESPECT he mirrors a feature Reagan had. Reagan was kind of middling on other things, but that gave Reagan his halo.

After losing two relationships due to my work ethic (married to my business), I met the love of my life, married, and now have a beautiful 13 yo daughter, that writes assays in her advanced English class that would compare to some of the more thoughtful prose on these pages.

Point being, MAKE the time, my friend.

I have a pic of my daughter when she was 3, wearing mom's high heels and holding a wrench offering her help in rebuilding my tractor (whole nuther project lol)

Well, you didn’t seem to, but I was glad to help.

You seemed to confuse commune with a commune. They are spelled the same so to one has to examine the usage. If I say,”I came to commune with the posters on FR,” it means talk or communicate with them.

If I say I’m going to join a commune, it has a different meaning.

There are other words derived from this root; most notably Communion in various churches.
