The more likely scenario is a Cascadia fault movement. That could rip all the way down the west coast. There is significant magma incursion under China Lake after the big 7.1 in Ridgecrest. This is magma working its way toward the coast. When it reaches the Pacific ocean, it could get real interesting.

I thought the heart issue was the result of myocarditis because of some RNA expression of ACE2 in the heart muscle. It is possible the virus causes disruption of the autonomic nervous system, however I am not sure.

In some ways we did too. That won't happen again.

Funny how this scenario resulted in the ultimate of bugging in.

I suppose it is best to be proactive and now try to prepare for other possibilities in the coming months. Personally I think home security should be elevated.

The newer buildings have separate HVAC units, for each apartment. They look kind of like motel a/c’s...wall units.

They draw the air in, directly from the outside, cool or heat it, then it blows in to the apartment.

Where the problem in the newer building is, imo, is the strong draft that comes in, from under the entry (to each apt) door.

So, it would seem (to me, anyway) that the Wuhan infected air that is in the elevator, or your hallway, would draft right in to some/all of the floors apartments.

Not sure if this would be the case, but...with the strong drafts going on between elevators and hallways, would seem like it could happen.

In theory, if we have done more testing for sure. They update info at 2:00, so I’ll check it out. They recently closed parks and playgrounds. Hopefully more testing will be done.

Dutchsinse says the quake was over the center of the deep Yellowstone magma chamber. There is a shallow one centered near Yellowstone Lake. Then a second chamber drops down to the west. That runs into the deep third chamber. Located west of yellowstone.

Thanks hairyape! Your thought tickled the little grey cells for a while. Their decision almost from day one was to call it sars2 which has saved lives because it called for all the mitigation efforts which lessons were learned in 2002-2004.
