What idiots would be wasting food these days?
Every scrap gets used in this household.
I was raised that way.
You DO NOT waste food.
“If any of you ordered a large 4 topping contactless (sigh) pie from Dominos pizza tonight for $12.99 ..you could bought a barrel of WTI Midland (with some sofa change left over) and stored it in your pool for an investment”

Really puts the oil price in perspective.
Coronaviruses are famously stable. Researchers have compared the 4 coronaviruses that cause the common cold against the same viruses from 30 years ago, and they are almost unchanged. As far as immunity, that is tough with coronaviruses. Being infected by the coronaviruses that cause the common cold imparts no immunity. With MERS-COV immunity is mostly short lived. SARS-COV is the only known human coronavirus that seems to impart a lasting immune response. We don't know yet about SARS-COV2. Hopefully, it will be like SARS-COV, but if it's like MERS it might become an annual or semi-annual vaccine for those at risk and others who want it. I think anecdotal evidence suggests SARS-COV2 imparts some immune response, or we would be seeing more reinfections. But until we know more, I think vaccines and "herd immunity" need to be considered in the context of other coronaviruses, not viruses in general.

#China is betting big on masks! So much that the state has ordered all “regular factories” to produce, that means Car factories, electronics factories, anywhere that can...even without experience or proper control facilities...it’s “Made in China” and it’s Normal
Good info.
Thankfully, some people are blabberers. Worse, some people can’t follow instructions and stay the bleep at home.
I have no idea if you can still get down there but Id wager not because we are supposedly went into lock down as of 5 pm tonight.
Something that bothers me...
Isn’t this most accurately labeled a “cold”?
One that kills.
Doctors on the news this morning were saying 6 feet social distancing should be 10 feet. Never mind a cough can send droplets 27 feet.
i think they were clear that for a cough to travel 27 feet it has to be almost deliberate.
Yeah...now we have to do 30’ apart, to do our part.
Wow...talk about evil capitalists.
The left won’t call the ChiComs out, though, for profiting off of a crisis that THEY themselves created.
I wouldn’t buy, nor trust ONE product coming out of there, anymore.
Especially anthing to do with Meds, med supplies.
I saw the vid of the Chinese factory guy rubbing finished masks on the bottom of his shoe sole.
No, thanks.
If we do ANY trading w/them, we are nuts.
China is having cases climb again because they aren’t sustaining people stay at home. Having less cases does not mean you lift the order to remain home....
I’ll just stay home and maybe not talk to the neighbor back porch to back porch.
Put up a plexiglass on your back porch...lol.
Speaking of distance....I was on our front porch, today, spraying down a couple of packages that came....and, up drives the FedEx truck.
I looked at him and took off running, back into the house.
Hubby could not figure out what was going on.
Poor FedEx guy...no telling what he thought. Hubby said, He probably gets that a lot, these days.
So.
A cpl days ago we were talking about getting freezers now. And the possibility that the supply chain issues are having longer term effects in domestic manufacturing.
And I went to lowes.com and checked availability for a freezer for my locale and it gave the date of May 10.
Today that date is May 12.
It’s not looking good at this point if you want a chest freezer any time soon.
FedEx and UPS will have stellar immune systems by the time this is all over.
