Mike Pence's aides ensured all government documents were indexed and boxed up before he left office. Two of his top aides oversaw the process, The New York Times reported. The process falls distinctly out of line with reports of Trump's handling of government documents. Former Vice President Mike Pence was organized about making sure all White House documents were preserved and packed up, The New York Times reported on Saturday. His aides, according to The Times, ensured all documents were indexed and boxed up. His chief of staff and his counsel — Marc Short and Greg Jacob, respectively — oversaw...

A former correspondent with Fox News suggested on Saturday that law enforcement agencies will have to take action against Fox News and Tucker Carlson to "stop the lying." Carl Cameron, Fox's former chief political correspondent, told CNN's Jim Acosta that Carlson in particular has been "screaming fire in a crowded movie house for years." "The fact of the matter is, if you disturb the peace by starting a riot in a movie theater, cops are going to arrest you and you might end up in jail or you might end up in something worse," Cameron said. "And that kind of...

Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland said it was "chilling" to learn that former Vice President Mike Pence refused to leave the Capitol as insurrectionists stormed the building. Sen. Mitch McConnell is trying to thwart former President Donald Trump's efforts to shape the GOP, The New York Times reported on Sunday. It's an effort to gain a GOP majority in the Senate, The Times reported. The campaign consists of phone calls, meetings, and polling memos, the paper said. In December, Graham suggested that Trump will continue to shape the political sphere and party leaders need to find a...

A jury on Thursday found a Virginia man, accused of shooting his next-door neighbor, guilty of first-degree murder. Michael Hetle, a 52-year-old former police officer and NASA executive, shot 24-year-old Javon Prather seven times, a video of which was caught by a Ring doorbell camera, local news outlet WTOP reported. Hetle and Prather had feuded for years, arguing over mundane things like dog poop and loud music, according to local news outlets. Since 2016, Hetle has called the police to complain about barking dog noises coming from Prather's house, WTOP said. Before the jury, Hetle's attorney argued that he acted...

A Florida county commissioner wrote a letter to Gov. Ron DeSantis pleading that the livestock deworming drug ivermectin become more widely available for people who are struggling with COVID-19. In the letter, Commissioner Neil Combee called ivermectin a "wonder drug," according to NBC affiliate WFLA. "We are hearing from many of our citizens that larger hospital chains and some pharmacies are refusing to prescribe safe and effective therapeutics like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin," Combee's letter said. "When a citizen is facing a potentially life-threatening case of COVID-19, he or she should receive the 'right to try' potentially life-saving therapeutics." Commissioners in...

His action was received with loud applause from a crowd of QAnon gatherers.

Sen. Lindsey Graham said on Friday night young people of color are safe in South Carolina — but only if they are not liberal. "I care about everybody," Graham said, speaking at a forum for South Carolina Senate candidates. "If you're a young African American, an immigrant, you can go anywhere in this state. You just need to be conservative, not liberal."
