Farkas, President Obama’s former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense and now an NBC News National Security Analyst, whined to anchor Kate Snow: “And on the dark campaign of fake news, you know, that's still ongoing. We see even someone like myself get swept up in all of this. You know, when people like me are speaking on behalf of process, people spin to it suit their needs. And I think it may be that the Russians are behind even such fake news today.”

Lt. General Thomas McInerney appeared on Fox News to discuss Obamagate and the attacks on Devin Nunes who recently came out confirming that Trump was surveilled between Election Day and Inauguration Day.  Lt. McInerney said that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are both in violation of the Espionage Act. It’s time for a special prosecutor to go after these two and others involved in their criminal activity.  "McInerney: “Fingerprints that are now gonna start coming out that will show that the Obama administration was heavily listening to what was going on in the Trump campaign.  They...

The detective story of our times is unspooling before us and the MacGuffin could affect all of our lives for years to come and the very nature of our republic. That mystery is "whodunit" in the great Trump Transition leak(s) scandal that actually pre- and post-dates the transition itself. Who unmasked Michael Flynn and -- so it seems now -- others and why did he, she or they do it? Who later leaked (selectively) President Trump's conversations with the leaders of Australia and Mexico? Is this the same person or are there several? More importantly, who is watching the watchers...

Intelligence reports show then-President Elect Donald Trump and his transition team may have been monitored by agencies in the weeks after the election via “incidental collection,” a top Republican revealed in a press conference Wednesday afternoon. “I have seen intelligence reports that clearly show that the President-elect and his team were, I guess, at least monitored,” House Intelligence Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes (R-California), said. Nunes explained “incidental collection” of information regarding the President-elect and his team occurred primarily in November through January according to reports.

The Washington Post's Bob Woodward warned on Wednesday that there are people from the Obama administration who could be facing criminal charges for unmasking the names of Trump transition team members from surveillance of foreign officials. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., said earlier that he had briefed Trump on new information, unrelated to an investigation into Russian activities, that suggested that several members of Trump's transition team and perhaps Trump himself had their identities "unmasked" after their communications were intercepted by U.S. intelligence officials. The revelation is notable because identities of Americans are generally supposed to remain...

Members of the intelligence community collected ‘incidental’ communications of the Trump transition team during legal surveillance operations, producing ‘dozens’ of reports which eventually unmasked several individuals’ identities and which were ‘widely disseminated,’ a top lawmaker said Wednesday afternoon. House Intelligence Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., said none of the reports he had read mentioned Russia or Russians and he was unsure whether the surveillance occurred at Trump Tower. Nunes also was unsure if then President-elect Trump was captured by the surveillance, which occurred in November, December and January. “I recently confirmed on numerous occasions the intelligence community incidentally collected intelligence,”...

The FBI is investigating whether the Trump campaign colluded with a covert Russian operation to interfere with the election, FBI Director James Comey told Congress Monday — and he refuted the president's baseless claim that his predecessor wiretapped his communications. Comey's confirmation in testimony before the House Intelligence Committee that the Trump campaign was the subject of a U.S. counterintelligence investigation was a revelation that could shadow the Trump presidency.

On Jan 20, 2017, Inauguration Day, the New York Times print edition featured on the front page “Wiretapped Data Used in Inquiry of Trump Aides." From the Article: “The F.B.I. is leading the investigations, aided by the National Security Agency, the C.I.A. and the Treasury Department’s financial crimes unit. The investigators have accelerated their efforts in recent weeks but have found no conclusive evidence of wrongdoing, the officials said. One official said intelligence reports based on some of the wiretapped communications had been provided to the White House.” And: “Numerous news outlets, including The New York Times, have reported on...

Former Defense Secretary and CIA Director Leon Panetta said Monday that there is no evidence “at all” to back President Donald Trump’s claim that his predecessor, former President Barack Obama, ordered wiretaps inside Trump Tower during last year’s election. The president, Panetta said, owes Obama an apology and ought to admit that “a mistake was made” when he leveled the accusation on Twitter earlier this month. “I don't think there is any evidence here,” Panetta said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” when asked about Trump’s wiretapping allegation. “The president frankly ought to acknowledge that a mistake was made, apologize to President...

Infowars.com have obtained credible information from law enforcement sources regarding individual records of U.S. citizens under National Security Agency (NSA) electronic surveillance in the years 2004 through 2010 – a database that suggests both Donald J. Trump and Alex Jones were under illegal, unauthorized government monitoring during those years. Michael Zullo, formerly the commander and chief investigator of the CCP, a special investigative group created in 2006 in the office of Joseph M. Arpaio, formerly the sheriff in Maricopa County, an Arizona State Certified Law Enforcement Agency, headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, provided sections of the database. The electronic surveillance database,...

President Donald Trump owes former commander-in-chief Barack Obama an apology, says Nancy Pelosi. The House Minority Leader said Friday during a preview of her upcoming "Face the Nation" interview that Trump was wrong for accusing Obama of having his wires tapped in Trump Tower. "It's not just about this allegation that President Trump has made. It's about the frivolity of it all," she said. "I call him the Deflector-in-Chief." Pelosi said Trump concocts stories to deflect from the negativity surrounding him, and it's something he should not be doing as president.

Since a lot of folks seem certain that the Obama administration would never, ever do anything that came close to breaking the law… I mean other than killing people during Fast & Furious and siccing the IRS on political opponents… it is useful to take a quick look back to the time when the Iran nuclear deal was being discussed in Congress. Via NRO: "According to a bombshell Wall Street Journal article by Adam Entous and Danny Yadron, published online late Monday, the National Security Agency provided the White House with intercepted Israeli communications containing details of private discussions between...

The current scandal surrounding President Donald Trump’s tweeted accusations that his predecessor wiretapped Trump Tower is proof of what might be called the Salena Zito rule. Zito, of course, wrote the essay in the Atlantic how Trump’s supporters took him “seriously, but not literally,” whereas the press took him “literally, but not seriously.” This is a good way to understand the current state of the investigation of Russian meddling in the 2016 election and Trump’s wild accusations against Barack Obama. Barring an unexpected turn of events, FBI director James Comey will confirm on Monday before the House Intelligence Committee that...

Recent news of Obama’s invasive and deliberate spying on President Trump demands a serious investigation. How was Obama able to spy on the soon-to-be President during his campaign and what were his motives? The FBI, House of Representatives, and the Senate have each launched investigations to uncover more details and unknown variables, but some truths which may come as a shock to the American people. Despite common beliefs, at no time was Obama required to obtain a warrant to spy on Mr. Trump. As Commander in Chief, Obama was well within his legal rights to merely order the NSA to...

The US has agreed not to repeat claims the UK's communications intelligence agency wiretapped Donald Trump in the weeks after he won the US election. No 10 has been assured the allegations would not be repeated, a spokesman for Prime Minister Theresa May said. He said it had been made clear to US authorities the claims were "ridiculous and should have been ignored".

"Fox News cannot confirm Judge [Andrew] Napolitano's commentary," Smith said. "Fox News knows of no evidence of any kind that the now-president of the United States was surveilled at any time, in any way. Full stop."

President Donald Trump held his first meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel at the White House on Friday, and staged a joint press conference shortly after. When asked by a reporter about claims that Obama wiretapped Trump Tower, the president gestured towards the German leader and said, "at least we have something in common, perhaps." In 2010, the National Security Agency monitored Merkel’s cellphone with direct authorization by President Barack Obama. After Merkel found out about the wiretap, she placed a “strongly worded” call to Obama, calling his actions “totally unacceptable, if true.”“This would be a grave breach of trust,” Merkel said through her spokesman Steffen...

A Russian bank has reported to U.S. authorities that mysterious communications resumed recently between one of its computers and an email server tied to President Trump’s business empire, and it has developed evidence the new activity may be the work of a hacker trying to create a political hoax, Circa has learned. Alfa Bank is asking the U.S. Justice Department for help solving the mystery and pledged its full cooperation.

President Trump discussed his tweeted accusation that President Obama ordered "wires" at Trump Tower tapped during last year's presidential campaign in an exclusive interview with Fox News' "Tucker Carlson Tonight" Wednesday. Trump told host Tucker Carlson that the administration "will be submitting things" to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence "very soon." The president added that he "will be, perhaps speaking about this next week" and predicted that "you’re going to find some very interesting items coming to the forefront over the next 2 weeks." When asked by Carlson why he tweeted about the alleged phone tap before producing...
