Attorney General Merrick Garland is in trouble. Not just with Republicans, but with Biden. While Republicans are unhappy that AG Garland had been going after Trump and other conservatives, Biden and other Democrats are unhappy at his ineffectiveness. A Politico report from last month cited White House insiders claiming that if Biden wins, Garland won’t get a second term because he didn’t do enough to insulate the Biden family from investigations and that he didn’t move the Trump investigation along fast enough. William Windom, the recognizable character actor who had a career on the small screen spanning seven decades, passed away today at age 88.

In Alabama, with 32 percent of precincts reporting, Siegelman had 99,101 votes, or 72 percent, to Agriculture Commissioner Charles Bishop's 29,848, or 22 percent. Riley had 52,997 votes, or 76 percent, to 10,814 or 16 percent for Lt. Gov. Steve Windom. Tim James, son of former Gov. Fob James, trailed.
