Monterey Bay Aquarium team caught this barreleye fish on camera. According to the aquarium, they're an elusive species that lives 2,600 feet under the ocean. The deep-sea fish has a transparent head with tubular eyes. These fish usually grow to about six inches and can see through their forehead. The aquarium said the aquarist were on a deep sea collection trip with the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute. They were collecting jellies and comb jellies for an upcoming exhibition when they spotted the barreleye fish. Leah Davis Lokan, 65, of Chico, California, was on a long-distance bicycling trip and had stopped in the western Montana town of Ovando when she was killed early Tuesday, said Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks officials as they provided more details about the attack. Lokan was killed on the bear’s second visit to the site where she and two fellow bicyclists were camping near the post office, officials said. The approximately 400-pound (181 kilogram) grizzly first awakened the campers about 3 a.m., officials said. They took food out of their tents, secured it and went back to sleep, they said.

BARABOO (WKOW) – A Baraboo Walmart employee was able to tackle a deer that got into the store this week. A 27 News viewer recorded a video in the store when it happened Wednesday. The video shows an employee on top of the deer, to keep it from moving through the store. The witness said the deer got into the store somewhere in the back of the building.
