The Democrats seem to enjoy gloating about the hot mess that is the Republican Party these days. Former GOP presidents warning the president about the people he surrounds himself with; sitting Republican U.S. senators calling the president unstable and unqualified; and a former GOP speaker of the house saying "there is no Republican Party. The president isn't a Republican." And Democrats' friends in the mainstream media have kindly created an echo chamber that makes them think that they are always right and the Republicans are a bunch of sexist, racist, whack jobs. So why aren't they winning? They must be...

Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said she believes Wisconsin's voter ID law made a difference in last year's election. The former Secretary of State, U.S. senator and first lady spoke Tuesday night in Milwaukee as part of an effort to promote her book, "What Happened," which looked at the 2016 presidential race. Clinton told about 2,500 audience members at Milwaukee's Riverside Theater that the state's voter ID law suppressed turnout among students, minorities and the elderly. "In an election, which I remember well, was decided by a razor-thin margin, that makes a difference. This issue hasn't gotten enough attention....

Both Mitch McConnell & Paul Ryan are total failures at leadership and, are 100% "Never Trumpers". I ask you good folks this simple question. Should both Mitch McConnell & Paul Ryan be thrown out by their own caucuses or plainly be forced to resign immediately?

No, silly. Leftists don’t want $32 trillion in new taxes. They want around $15 trillion in new taxes over the next decade plus a cool $32 trillion or so in new debt to pay for single-payer, at least if Bernie Sanders’s platform last year is the template. CNN asks upstart Ryan opponent Randy Bryce about that here. You’re a single-payer proponent, they say. What do you think of $32 trillion to socialize medicine? Bryce: Well, ah, a lot of people aren’t paying their fair share of taxes, you know. That’s a sentiment a lot of Americans, including Steve Bannon, share....

Wisconsin's Republican Gov. Scott Walker encouraged President Trump to “tweet more” on Friday, in stark contrast to recent Republican backlash over some of Trump’s more incendiary tweets. “Unlike others, I’d tell him to tweet more, to be on Facebook more, to get the message out more, but to be focused,” Walker told FOX’s Julie Banderas. He praised the president’s direct connection on social media with “all these great Americans.” “Tweet more, I’m fine with but don’t get off in the weeds on other issues,” the 2016 presidential candidate said. If the president focuses on the issues he was elected by...

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Scott Walker said Monday that when President Donald Trump comes to Wisconsin, he will see that people outside of Washington "still like his policies." Walker spoke on the Mike Gallagher radio show about a fundraiser Trump is hosting for Walker in Milwaukee on Tuesday night. Trump is also touring a technical college with Walker in the Milwaukee area. The fundraiser comes as Walker prepares for an expected re-election run in 2018. Walker didn't initially endorse Trump, but came around after he secured the Republican nomination. Trump carried Wisconsin by less than a percentage point.....

WISCONSIN DELLS — Wisconsin Republicans repeatedly praised President Donald Trump at their state convention Saturday, a stark contrast to last year when his name was rarely mentioned amid turmoil over his pending nomination. Republicans also focused their attention on helping Gov. Scott Walker and Attorney General Brad Schimel win re-election next year and defeating Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin. The annual GOP convention brought together hundreds of party insiders, activists and officeholders for speeches, awards and socializing....

David Axelrod said that although Hillary Clinton has a “legitimate beef” with FBI Director James Comey, Comey is not responsible for the mistakes of her campaign. "Jim Comey didn't tell her not to campaign in Wisconsin after the convention," said Axelrod, who served as former president Barack Obama's adviser, on CNN on Wednesday. "Jim Comey didn't say 'don't put any resources into Michigan until the final week of the campaign.'" During an interview at an event in Manhattan Tuesday, Clinton said that she takes “absolute personal responsibility” for the loss but said she was “on her way to winning” before...

Politico magazine has an interesting piece up today titled “What Do You Do if a Red State Moves to You?” That title is actually close to being the opposite of what the piece describes. It’s not about red staters moving into the cities. It’s about blue staters deciding, for one reason or another, to colonize a small county in rural Wisconsin and then being horrified to find not everyone who lives there shares their political outlook. The author suggests the cultural smugness of these progressive transplants is one reason some people in this rural county voted for Donald Trump. The...

Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein’s attempts to recount the election results in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania are now over. Although Stein only secured a complete recount in Wisconsin, she is claiming to have won a victory for voters by exposing weaknesses in the voting system. In fact, Stein’s greatest service may have been to validate the Wisconsin results ― and thus demonstrate that voting irregularities did not tip the election in Donald Trump’s favor. “I’d like to think that the public appreciates that as a result of the examinations that occurred, that the results were not corrupted in any...

In the Wisconsin Day 3 Recount Update 18,422 votes for Hillary Clinton were erased resulting in a 15,133 vote net increase for Donald Trump. Trump won Wisconsin by over 22,000 votes in Wisconsin but thanks to Jill Stein a recount is currently underway. So far the recount has made little news because, as Heavy reported at the end of day 2 of the recount, the net vote in Wisconsin had only changed by 3 votes. However, the Wisconsin Board of Elections just posted updated recount results for Day 3 on their recount update page and today’s net changes are much...

Dr. Jill Stein, along with her campaign staff and fellow Green Partiers, came all the way to Trump Tower this morning to blast his “anti-verification campaign” and tell him to stop spreading false information her recount efforts in three swing states. Early Monday morning, the Stein campaign announced that a federal judge in Michigan granted the campaign’s emergency request to immediately start the statewide recount. On Nov. 28, the campaign said Pennsylvanian voters filed recount requests in more than 260 precincts across the state and two days ago that it would file for emergency relief in federal court to demand...

Electoral officials for the state of Michigan certified Monday that Donald Trump won by 10,704 votes out of nearly 4.8 million to claim all of its 16 electoral votes. Green Party nominnee Jill Stein said she would continue with her petitions for vote recounts in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, although it would have taken a reversal in all three states for Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton to reach the presidency. Questions raise as to how Stein got so quickly all her new funding, which largely surpasses her total campaign expenditures. There are leads pointing at billionaire George Soros. Although Donald Trump's victory...

Hillary Clinton is one state away from losing the presidential election, FiveThirtyEight's Nate Silver said Sunday. While the Democratic presidential nominee has a 65.7 percent chance of winning the presidency on Tuesday, she is not "in a terribly safe position," the pollster said on ABC's "This Week." "The electoral map is actually less solid for Clinton than it was for Obama four years ago," Silver said. Silver came to notoriety by correctly predicting President Obama's victories in 2008 and 2012. Clinton is weaker among Midwestern voters, while Obama had leads in states like Ohio....

A few weeks ago, Wisconsin looked like a walkover for Democrats, in both the presidential and Senate races. Russ Feingold came out of retirement for a rematch against Ron Johnson, whose campaign-energy level had appeared to be flagging over the last year or so, and Donald Trump laid an egg in the state early. Democrats counted on flipping the state as one of their keys to a new Senate majority, and up to now have not appeared concerned with their progress. Now, however, a super-PAC is making a $2 million, last-minute jump to boost Feingold, raising questions about what Democrats...

Voters attending a fall festival in Elkhorn, Wis., on Saturday were disappointed — some downright hostile — that House Speaker Paul D. Ryan rescinded an invitation to Donald Trump to speak here after a recording emerged of the GOP presidential nominee making vulgar comments about women. “Paul Ryan sucks!” chanted Paul Anderson, who drove nearly an hour from Milwaukee to hear Trump speak. Holding a sign that said “Hillary Clinton is a criminal,” Anderson said he thought Ryan wanted Clinton to win the White House. “Donald Trump said some naughty words the other day. Oh, no, let’s disinvite him to...

Bernie Sanders was in Madison Wisconsin on Wednesday and only a few hundred people showed up to hear him speak in support of Democratic Presidential Candidate, Hillary Clinton. Roll back the clock to March before endorsing Hillary Clinton, Sanders attracted over 10,000 listeners in the same city. After noticing the low attendance I began to realize that there were almost no signs, stickers, hats or shirts for Hillary. In fact there was a sea of people wearing Bernie Sanders gear, making me curious on if they’re here to support Hillary or just to see Bernie. In the video below I...
