The Director of National Intelligence (DNI) via a letter to Senator Ron Wyden (R-OR) has confirmed Wyden's statement that The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) has, at least on one occasion, collected information through warrantless wiretaps that violate the Fourth Amendment.
