MSNBC and CNN are hemorrhaging viewers. Tee hee. Compared to this same week last year, MSNBC lost 40 percent of its primetime viewers, while CNN lost 44 percent.
Fox News, meanwhile, crushed them both, losing only 16 percent of primetime eyeballs.
The public has wised up. Resistance TV no longer sells like it’s 2017. Just ask Stephen Colbert and Howard Stern.
That Fox News number is the one that counts, for it gives us context. Sure, last year was a presidential election year, which is the Super Bowl for cable news. Unless there’s a war, no one expects cable news to attract the same audience this year. But when Fox News loses only 16 percent of its year-over-year audience and MSNBC and CNN lose 40 and 44 percent respectively, there’s more going on.
Here are the raw numbers from the week of July 21, with the percentage loss from this same week last year.
Average Primetime / Demo Viewers Viewers
FOX: 2.41 million (-16 percent) / 232,000 (-41 percent)
MSNBC: 906,000 (-40 percent) / 78,000 (-58 percent)
CNNLOL: 480,000 (-44 percent) / 89,000 (-54 percent)
Average Total Day / Demo Viewers
FOX: 1.484 million (-14 percent) / 157,000 (-34 percent)
MSNBC: 562,000 (-40 percent) / 50,000 (-55 percent)
CNNLOL: 359,000 (-37 percent) / 60,000 (-51 percent)

Hey, I got an idea, CNN or MS13BC: buy out the remainder of Stephen Colbert’s contract and put him up against Gutfeld!
President Trump is rating for them. Attacking him all the time drives away people.
LOL! Faux lost 41%
I sent them an email 4 years ago that we already have PMSNBC and that we didn’t need another one.
Of course they didn’t reply.
Can’t wait for the CNN airport contracts to expire. Talk about cratering viewership...
Fake News! Oh, wait...
People are getting away from network/cable news and moving towards streaming.
Thus, Both ESPN and FOX have announced major streaming networks, FOX ONE will combine all assets.
Meanwhile, CNN+ is cancelled because of lack of talent and content. Much to the chagrin of Chris Wallace
Wow! There are likely YouTube game streamers that have larger live audiences.
start telling the truth and people might start watching again!
for years they have been nothing but liberal propaganda.
.
I’ll be happy when it’s 99.9%.
And I believe that I will live to see it!
The really important thing to note here is that ALL new networks are losing viewers. Personally, I think the reason is because people simply have lost trust in the broadcast media. I used to watch Huntley/Brinkley and never doubted what they said. The were journalist: they presented both sides of an issue and let the viewers form their own opinion. Today, everything is tinged with an agenda. I just quit watching TV news.
Jizzlaine Maxwell testified before the DOJ recently that she never saw any “concerning behavior” from Donald Trump.
Sorry democrats. You lose again.
“Sigh.” the MSM
What’s surprising to me after Trump exposed all this wholesale government criminal corruption and looting of the taxpayers, and exposed the endless big media lies, the slack jawed ignorant fools still tune into that government sponsored propaganda.
On the bright side, what is left of fake big media audience is mostly at nursing homes and rehabs.
Thank you Trump!
And airport lounges...............
Conservatives working on elections to Congress need to recognize that some of the losses at MSNBC and CNN are not folks moving to the right. Some of their viewership loss is some folks moving further Left and thinking their media and the Din leaders are not fighting hard enough and should be more like Mamdani in New York.
Thr Dims mught be shrinking but the actual admitted socialists are getting some of those Dim losses.
The YouTube hosts are multiplying. Free Market!
Is there anyone left that watches that dribble??
Only 2.4 million viewers for Fox, CNN and MSNBC COMBINED? For the entire country? That’s nothing.
12% of U.S. adults, or roughly 31 million people, regularly get news from X. “Regularly” doesn’t specify daily usage, but a conservative estimate suggests roughly 12 to 25 million unique U.S. users get news from X daily.
That is FIVE to TEN times more than those who get news from cable TV.
Just people who have a room temperature IQ..................
I guess that’s why Rachel Maddow had to take that $5 million pay cut, down to only $25 million now.
