President Donald Trump just touched down in Stansted Airport, his first stop on a three-day state visit to the U.K., the goal of which is to "reaffirm the steadfast and special relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom." London Mayor Sadiq Khan has claimed the democratically elected leader of the United States, president Donald Trump, does not deserve a state visit to the United Kingdom. Khan, who last year disrespectfully approved a giant balloon of the president wearing a diaper to be flown over the British capital, told British radio station LBC that Trump was not "in the same class" as former President Barack Obama.

The government has announced the details of President Donald Trump’s visit to the UK. He will land in Britain on Thursday, July 12th, and then attend a function at Blenheim Palace – Trump has family ties to Scotland and the Royal Regiment of Scotland is due to perform at the event. Then he’ll make the trip to Chequers to have talks with Theresa May and then he’s off to meet Her Majesty the Queen at Windsor Castle. President Trump is then set to travel up to Scotland on Friday and stay until Sunday.

The U.K. government has reportedly told President Trump he must not meet Brexit architect and former U.K. Independence Party leader Nigel Farage when Trump visits the U.K. later this month. The U.K. Daily Telegraph, citing a source within the British government, reports that 10 Downing Street made it clear that Trump “must not meet Farage” during his working visit to the U.K. on July 13.
