LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Could someone who worked at a Los Angeles-area mosque be linked to the deadliest terror attack on U.S. soil? New allegations about the 9/11 attacks are coming from someone close to the classified investigation. In the three years following the terror attacks the 9/11 Commission found no evidence the Saudi government or high-ranking Saudi officials funded Al Qaeda. But John Lehman -- a former member of that investigative commission -- said a classified section of the investigation shows that as many as six Saudi individuals may have played a role in the attacks. One of those...

Candidate Ted Cruz and candidate John Kasich have officially “suspended†their campaign efforts to win the republican nomination. However, the campaign effort to deliver a resounding win for Donald Trump continues.Yes, a major hurdle has been crossed – Donald Trump is now the last remaining candidate running for the nomination; but that doesn’t mean the push through the last remaining states should be any less important. Every vote counts. Every delegate matters.Anyone who is inclined toward complacency needs only to look at the reaction yesterday by House Speaker Paul ‘Omnibus‘ Ryan and note why it is vital for the...

A new study has found that almost half the people who pick up a USB stick they happen across in a parking lot plug said drives into their PCs.Researchers from Google, the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and the University of Michigan, spread 297 USB drives around the Urbana-Champaign campus. They found that 48 percent of the drives were picked up and plugged into a computer, some within minutes of being dropped. "The security community has long held the belief that users can be socially engineered into picking up and plugging in seemingly lost USB flash drives they find," the researchers...

Some of Donald Trump’s support on Twitter comes from accounts with zero followers who tweet identical messages and who have been part of social media marketing campaigns in the past.

It's right there in the Washington Post... https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trump-hopes-message-appeals-to-democrats-independents-too/2016/04/02/e55057ba-f945-11e5-958d-d038dac6e718_story.html "The party's presidential front-runner told supporters Saturday that he's out to bring independents and Democrats behind his cause even though 'right now I'm catering to the Republicans.'" Which means, of course, that it's all been an act and, once nominated, he'll be "catering" to the Democrats. Face it, Trumpsters, if Jeb Bush or Mitt Romney had said this, you'd know exactly what it meant. If Cruz or Kasich said this, you'd be wagging your fingers and hammering their supporters over it. But, there it is, plain as Kansas, Trump is "catering to...

Last week’s attacks in Brussels show that Islamic State has built up a sophisticated network of terrorists that goes well beyond Al-Qaida’s capabilities. It is now able to strike using sleepers who have not yet been identified by security officials. […] Testimony from deserters suggests the terror organization began establishing sleeper cells in multiple European countries early on, in Turkey in particular. According to the former IS fighters, they are made up of men who aren’t on any watch lists. This enables IS to elude the vulnerability suffered by many based in Europe — namely that they are known terrorists....

A dramatic spike in fatal terrorist attacks by radical Islamists is likely to grow worse, and spread to more parts of the globe, during the next two years. Those are among the Investigative Project on Terrorism's conclusions after a detailed examination of trends in global terrorism.

On Wednesday during his radio program Rush Limbaugh responded to a caller claiming Ted Cruz is not an outsider and is “buddying up†with the establishment. Limbaugh clarified to the caller that Cruz is not the hypocrite – the establishment is.Listen to the full clip here: Below are some excerpts from the transcript: RUSH: I just saw there's a caller on line calling me delusional?  CALLER: I think, sadly, what you all fail to realize is that perpetually you're painting Ted Cruz as an outsider. He paints Ted Cruz as an outsider. The Tea Party tried to paint him as an...

The American People are angry. And it is not cyclical anger – after all, we are sitting at the top of the current business cycle. This anger is a secular trend. There is anger at the lack of jobs, there is anger over class warfare , there is anger at police profiling of young black men, anger at conservatives, anger at political correctness, anger at Liberals, anger at the break down of our inner city infrastructures and the poisoning of water in Flint, Michigan and elsewhere, anger at Hillary Rodham Clinton, anger at Donald Trump, anger at the main...

Senator Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL)80% warned that trade deals are eating away our national sovereignty and threatening our security on Thursday’s edition of Breitbart News Daily. Breitbart News executive chairman and host Stephen K. Bannon compared the issues at stake in Britain’s upcoming vote on exiting from the European Union with the 2016 U.S. presidential election, and asked Sessions if the latter could be seen as “essentially an up-or-down vote on national sovereignty of the United States of America.” Sessions said the issue of sovereignty was definitely at stake in these elections. “If you don’t secure the border, as Trump...

As the bad news out of Brussels continues to unfold today, we are reminded of some of the coverage that the city has received in the past. As I listened to the expert analysis of precisely what went so wrong there, the name of on particular segment of the city kept coming up repeatedly. The neighborhood of Molenbeek has long been known as a breeding ground for terrorists and a virtual “no go†sector for the cops, no matter what other European leaders say. CNN terrorism analysts this morning were bemoaning the fact that previous efforts to locate suspects in...

Donald Trump was the clear favorite in today’s winner-take-all Arizona primary, even before the Brussels terrorist attacks. The immigration issue and the flood of early voters favors him, as does the fact that some of those early voters will have cast ballots for Marco Rubio before he dropped out last Tuesday night. If they had known Rubio would no longer be a candidate, many of those voters might have gone with Cruz. But polls have been tricky and often erratic this year (think Michigan and the surprise win of Bernie Sanders). For example, the latest poll showing a 14 point...

Over the past 28 years there has been a sea change in the media. Not only has the monopoly of the so-called mainstream media been shattered but the phenomenal rise of conservative media has been truly stunning. It began in 1988 with the national syndication of Rush Limbaugh and his distinctive brand of conservative political commentary espoused in an entertaining and captivating way, which opened the flood gates for other conservatives, together with Rush, to dominate the talk radio airwaves. In the 1990’s the internet, through hundreds of websites, gave voice to journalists to report stories either ignored or downplayed...

Since Obuma was elected to POTUS, I have been coming to Free Republic to get news, opinions and a few laughs. Most of the serious posts were bemoaning the out of control government and what could be done about it. "Oh Whoa is Me!". Then along comes a constitutional conservative. For the first time since Ronald Reagan, we have a constitutional candidate running for the GOP nomination. This man was elected by conservatives to go to Washington and stand up to the elites that no longer listen to the American people. He didn't go to Washington and "fall in" with...

The French see René Descartes, a 17th century philosopher, scientist, and mathematician, as the truest expression of their national mind. I am afraid they are right.Descartes rejected authority in intellectual life and insisted on reconstructing knowledge on plain sense and strict reasoning, hence his famous motto, cogito ergo sum (“I think and therefore I am”). However, he also disdained experience as long as it could not be boiled down into logical and mathematical terms. This approach, so much at odds with the empirical and pragmatic approach favored in the Anglo-Saxon world, is indeed a hallmark of French culture -- including...

German Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservative CDU party was humiliated in key regional elections on Sunday as voters delivered their verdict at the ballot box about her open-door refugee policies. Exit poll results in three out of 16 German states foretell a wipeout in next year's general election as the hard-right capitalized on public disquiet and altered the political landscape forever. Baden-Wuerttemberg - solidly middle class and home to blue chip companies like Porsche and Daimler - was won by the Green Party after Merkel's CDU lost nearly 11 percent support since the last vote there in 2011.
