While researching an article, my husband heard about St. John Cantius Parish (Chicago), which offers the Tridentine Mass. Being only a thirty minute drive, we decided to make the trip for my first Tridentine Mass ever on January 1st, the feast day of Mary, Mother of God. One of our fans sent in this video link. For our Catholic readers, we are told that the Pope's focus on traditional ceremony is gaining both old and young alike. Perhaps, something is to be learned politically from this religious trend. Attached is the video recommended. I must say, there is something to be said for a return to tradition and in Western Christian pride. It is inspiring.

The weekly Sunday TLM community was tranferred to Cathedral at the closing of Holy Trinity German Church, also in the South End, on June 30, 2008.
