The Canons Regular of St. John Cantius (Archdiocese of Chicago) are leading a pilgrimage in September, 2010, to Fatima, Portugal, to help achieve the restoration of the Traditional Latin Mass to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima. Included in this pilgrimage to the Fatima apparition sites, will be a liturgical conference in Fatima, providing clergy and laity lectures on the history, spirituality, and mystical theology of the Classical Roman Rite.
On September 10, the Canons will celebrate a Solemn High Latin Mass (1962 Missale Romanum) at the High Altar of Fatima's Basilica. This will be the first time in some 45 years since the High Altar has been used to celebrate the Traditional Latin Mass.
If you are interested to join the Canons on this pilgrimage, contact Fr. Scott Haynes, SJC, here or call 312-243-7373.
Mater Dei Tours http://materdeitours.com is finalizing travel arrangements now. Contact Fr. Scott to secure your place on this important trip and to thank Our Lady of Fatima for restoring the Latin Mass at her shrine!
That is great news!
Absolutely great news!
Wondering if this is the “intense” news announcement about Fatima?
This is absolutely lovely!
If I didn’t have pocketbook issues, I’d take both of us!
