CeCé Telfer, a transgender athlete who won an NCAA women’s track and field championship in 2019, vowed in a recent interview to return to indoor competition and come away with wins. Telfer sparked controversy earlier this year with wins in indoor track meets in the New England area. However, with a new book out, Telfer vowed to take home more than just a medal. "I look forward to indoor track, because 2024 indoors is going to be epic," Telfer said in an interview with Them. "My dreams were taken away from me once again. So I plan on going back...

The left-wing Labour Party may look to scrap government guidance telling schools to teach children that there are only two biological sexes, which would easily be overturned given the failure of the Conservative government to put the policy into law. Shadow education secretary Bridget Phillipson said that if elected — as is widely predicted to happen — a Labour government would review guidance from Rishi Sunak’s government which told educators to refrain from teaching far-left gender ideology as a fact. This included the theory that people can somehow be born into the wrong body, can change their sexual identity, or...

The Biden administration’s new hire, Tyler Cherry, a crossing-dressing leftist who attacked police and promoted “Russiagate,” has claimed his past social media posts do not reflect his current views. As we reported on Saturday, Cherry was promoted to associate communications director at the White House.

Last month, NPR published an article entitled “There are now 25 states with bans on health care for minors.” NPR being what it is, “health care for minors” is a euphemism for the performance of hormonal and surgical procedures that obscure the biological sex of children. In June 2023, Texas passed a law banning puberty-blockers and genital-mutilating surgeries for minors. The Texas law prohibits any sort of procedures like double mastectomies, puberty blockers, sex change surgeries and cross-sex hormones from being performed on underage girls and boys. The law will also prevent state funds being used on such procedures. ......

The trans superiority narrative is a declaration of separation, in essence, of war. In order to accept it, one must reject objective reality, as George Orwell wrote in 1984: “The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” The narrative is not merely a cry for “trans rights,” but an in-your-face rejection of objective reality that begins before birth. We are now told fetuses know in the womb they are trans, and mentally ill parents are encouraged to believe their infants have similar knowledge and must be transitioned lest...

A Texas registered nurse who accused doctors at the largest pediatric hospital in the United States of committing Medicaid fraud related to gender interventions for minors claims FBI agents threatened her at her home in response to her speaking out. Vanessa Sivadge, a nurse at Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) in Houston, came forward last year to journalist Christopher Rufo to claim that the institution was pushing "gender-affirming care" on young patients while ignoring their underlying psychological problems.Sivadge reportedly approached Rufo following his May 2023 story about Dr. Eithan Haim, who leaked medical records suggesting that TCH was continuing to prescribe...

In the Covenant School Shooting of 2023, a transvestite woman, Audrey Hale, murdered 6 people at a Christian private school before being put down by law enforcement. In recent weeks many details have emerged about Audrey Hale’s motivations, including swaths of her manifesto being leaked by various media outlets. The Southern Baptist Convention, helmed by the liberal Brent Leatherwood, has fought tooth and nail to prevent the manifesto’s public release. So far the manifesto has confirmed the strong connection between pornography and transgenderism while also expressing anti-Christian motivations. The investigation is still ongoing, and the Tennessee Star reported a bombshell...

The bill, proposed by Janae Shamp of the Arizona senate, would have required healthcare professionals to cover the costs of care for patients who choose to detransition. Arizona’s governor, Katie Hobbs, has vetoed a bill that would have required any doctor who provides so-called gender-affirming care to cover the medical costs for patients who later choose to detransition. The bill also would have applied to insurance companies and health care institutions. In her veto, Ms. Hobbs cited the bill as “unnecessary” and one that “would create a privacy risk for patients.” The bill was proposed in February by a Republican...

There has been a great deal of (seemingly warranted) scrutiny directed at Texas Children's Hospital since reports emerged two weeks ago of the Department of Justice going after whistleblower Dr. Ethan Haim, a resident at Baylor College of Medicine, on charges of improperly accessing and disclosing patient information in violation of HIPAA. In 2023, Haim told journalist Christopher Rufo that the hospital was continuing to perform "gender-affirming" surgeries on minors — a practice that was outlawed by Texas Lawmakers in September 2023. The uproar over Haim's targeting was followed by reports of a visit from FBI agents to a nurse...

The California Senate has approved a bill that would prohibit school districts from requiring school officials to share information about a student's sexual orientation and gender identity with the child's parent, drawing concerns from Christian and parental rights groups. On Monday, the Democrat-controlled California Senate passed Assembly Bill 1955 in a 29-8 vote. Support for the legislation fell along party lines, with all votes in favor of it coming from Democrats and all opposition coming from Republicans. The legislation includes a provision declaring that "[a]n employee or a contractor of a school district, county office of education, charter school, or...

CV NEWS FEED // The office of Republican Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is reportedly investigating a whistleblower’s allegations of Medicaid fraud on the part of a “transgender” clinic that subjected children to illicit procedures. Scholar Christopher Rufo on Wednesday wrote that he has “confirmed with a spokesman for [Paxton] that the alleged Medicaid fraud is ‘currently being investigated by the Texas Attorney General.’” Rufo has extensively reported on the “massive scandal” involving Texas Children’s Hospital’s (TCH) clinic. On his Substack, Rufo noted that there are “two possible avenues for” Paxton’s investigation into TCH: “civil and criminal.” He further explained:...

Influential U.S. medical bodies are ignoring findings abroad that puberty-blockers and hormonal treatments for children and teens lack supporting evidence. On this side of the Atlantic, the Cass Review has fallen on deaf ears. Dr. Hilary Cass released her final report for England’s National Health Service two months ago, clearly demonstrating that puberty-blockers and hormonal treatments for trans-identified children and teens lack supporting evidence. NHS England has now banned puberty-blockers in clinical care and will be restricting their use to research settings. Yet U.S. medical leaders have responded with silence, inaction, or both, proving that the physical and emotional well-being...

The trans activist who received criticism for exposing his augmented breasts at the White House during a Pride event last June has now been accused of sexual assault. The alleged victim is a biological female who identifies as a “man.” Rose Montoya, 28, was subsequently banned from attending any future events at the White House after a video went viral showing him groping his fake breasts while topless on the South Lawn. Montoya shared the video to his own TikTok account, and it quickly gathered attention. After a groundswell of outrage, Montoya was condemned by White House Press Secretary, Karine...

Back on June 10, we told you the story of Eithan Haim, who blew the whistle on Texas Children's Hospital performing "gender-affirming" surgeries on minors, 1) after the hospital had claimed to have shut down the program, and 2) after Texas passed laws banning such surgeries for minors. We remember when the Left thought whistleblowers were heroes. Agents from the Department of Health and Human Services knocked at his door and said he was under investigation for violating HIPAA, legislation that makes it illegal to share protected health information. And as we reported Tuesday, a second whistleblower from Texas Children's...

Tennessee Star editor-in-chief Michael Patrick Leahy unveiled the Nashville Covenant School mass shooter's personal writings earlier this month, but no mainstream news outlets appear to have reported about the revelations, and only one has reported on the subsequent legal battle that Leahy faces for uncovering the documents. Additionally, while journalists' rights organizations traditionally would have provided counsel to a reporter like Leahy in court, few are willing to comment on the case, and Leahy is being represented by America First Legal and Daniel Horwitz, a Nashville-based attorney who focuses on the First Amendment. Outlets such as Fox News, CNN, The...

A so-called “trans woman” who flashed his prosthetic breasts during a White House “Pride” event last year has been accused of sexually assaulting at least five people. To recap, Townhall reported last year how a transgender model went topless on the White House lawn during a Pride event: The transgender, “Rose” Montoya, 27, met President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden. In a video, he unhooked his dress, then cupped and shook his breast implants in front of the Truman balcony where the pride flag hung in the background. As Leah noted, in response to criticism, Montoya said “going...

The “gender-affirming care” business has always had an aura of madness around it. Wielding the authority of white coats and prestigious degrees, doctors have convinced large swaths of the public that some children are “born in the wrong body.” The solution? Stop puberty, prescribe cross-sex hormones, and then, with the stroke of a knife, remove body parts—most commonly breasts, less frequently genitalia. These medical practices use scientific rhetoric to affirm what is, at bottom, an ideological program. And gender activists have been successful enough at capturing the legitimizing institutions—medical societies, regulatory bodies, and teaching hospitals—to repel most challenges to the...
