CV NEWS FEED // The office of Republican Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is reportedly investigating a whistleblower’s allegations of Medicaid fraud on the part of a “transgender” clinic that subjected children to illicit procedures.
Scholar Christopher Rufo on Wednesday wrote that he has “confirmed with a spokesman for [Paxton] that the alleged Medicaid fraud is ‘currently being investigated by the Texas Attorney General.’”
Rufo has extensively reported on the “massive scandal” involving Texas Children’s Hospital’s (TCH) clinic.
On his Substack, Rufo noted that there are “two possible avenues for” Paxton’s investigation into TCH: “civil and criminal.”
He further explained:
If the state pursues a civil case against Texas Children’s, the hospital could lose a significant amount of funding and, in the maximal outcome, even lose access to the state Medicaid program. If the state decides to pursue criminal charges, the doctors involved could face significant fines and up to 10 years in prison.
“The scandal of ‘transgender medicine’ is finally reaching the point of crisis,” Rufo indicated. “There will be a reckoning—and Texas might lead the way.”
The news of Texas’ investigation comes one day after Rufo revealed that the Biden administration’s Department of Justice (DOJ) sent two FBI agents to the home of Vanessa Sivadge – the nurse who blew the whistle on the alleged fraud.

Rufo posted to X a 47-second video of the beginning of this encounter. The video appeared to be taken by the Sivadges’ doorbell camera.
The clip shows that when Sivadge came to the door, one of the FBI agents acknowledged that he was “interrupting dinner.”
“I’m sure you’re aware of some of the things that have been going on at your work,” the agent said to the nurse.
“With regards to?” Sivadge asked him.
The agent then asked to “sit down for a minute” and do his “song and dance.” At this point, the video cut out.
Considering that the “medical procedures” involved in “transitioning” are actually aiding and abetting the CRIME of FRAUD (aka #GenderFraud)...
Feds.

They are nice guys that do a song and dance.

For those who may not know, unlike the fully-federal Medicare Program, Medicaid is run jointly between the states and the feds, so a HUGE amount of money is spent on it by the states and they have the right to make sure it’s used legally, rather than used to butcher children.
