A Kingsport woman told police she was counterfeiting money because she read online that President Barack Obama made a new law allowing her to print her own money, according to a police report. Police were called to a local grocery store on Sunday night in regards to a complaint about counterfeit money. A man walking into a local abortion clinic is under arrest after protesters there said he pulled a gun on them. Bristol, Tennessee, police arrested Derrick Doss just before 10am Wednesday, outside the Bristol Women's Clinic on West State Street. Doss is charged with aggravated assault. Protesters said they approached him as he was walking into the office, and then he pulled a gun on them. Police officers said Doss told them he didn’t take the gun out of its holster, but he did get it from his vehicle because he felt threatened.
